Valextra 58
Yeah because a wrong spelling from someone whose first language is not English is a big deal no? I am aware of the issue but I don't feel the need to comment on it and try to be intelligent like some of you people against those who have a different opinion than yours. It's not worth it especially when I know that in this forum with deluded fans, you'll sound like an ignorant just because you disagree with these "intelligent" people here. I made the comment because I know there are still some stans here who think Iggy is racist but gives a free pass on their fave. And dont bother to quote me because I got no time to argue with people who thinks their logic is above anyone else regarding this issue. ;) :applause:

Azealia is as racist as it gets which ruins her amazing music for me along with her **** poor attitude.

StrawberryBlond 14,151
I'm really shaking my head over the replies in this thread. The assumption that all whites are ignorant, that only minorities are affected by racism, that if you don't talk about racial issues, it means you don't care about them, that you've got to acknowledge your privilage if you're white and making black music, that racism against blacks is worse than racism against whites...I just can't believe that this is 2015 when stuff like this is still being said. There are plenty of whites who aren't ignorant, every race can experience racism, you have a right to keep quiet on your stance towards racial issues, every music style is for everyone and racism is bad no matter who it's towards and should not be tolerated. Honestly, I'm lucky that I've experienced very little white racism in my life and what I'm seeing here is offending me in a way that I've never experienced before. What's even more upsetting is that lots of whites genuinely think that whites deserve to be criticised and won't even stick up for their own race. It just isn't fair how whites have long been hailed as the most racist, ignorant beings on the planet when there is racism and ignorance from every side (understandably brought on by some white racism in some cases) and geared towards all different races, ethnicities and religions. Of course race relations aren't going to improve if there's going to be finger pointing and guilt from all sides.

Azealia is as racist as it gets which ruins her amazing music for me along with her **** poor attitude. Exactly. This is not just about defending Iggy, but calling out on their hypocrasy and shamelessly dragging her just because she is quiet about these racial issues. Like do they seriously expect her to put the "racist white people" into their place? She doesn't have to be an advocate for the black people just because she's using a musical genre that was originally made by the black people. She has the right not to take a stance on the issue and that doesn't automatically mean she's a freaking racist. People say this isn't all about Iggy yet they will find any means to criticize or bring her down, even resorting to outright calling her untalented. Just leave the girl alone. She's just doing her own thing and she doesn't need to act intelligent like these people who think their reasoning is above everyone just because they're pulling out this race card. Of course race relations aren't going to improve if there's going to be finger pointing and guilt from all sides. The belief that whites can actually feel racism is what makes you ignorant, tbh. Race relations aren't going to be improved if you're trying to say that everyone is the problem, yet you acknowledge that whites caused their own reputation? What are you even saying, right now, honestly? The only way that race relations will get better in America is when whites realize that they are racist, no different from their forefathers, and that they will never actually experience racism unless they leave the western world. No one's asking for her to be an advocate. People want her to not disrespect black-american history. Her commenting on current issues that the black community faces is the LEAST she can do. You aren't an advocate for at least acknowledging the problem. There's not much to look for when you straight up say that aboriginals don't believe in houses, refer to yourself a slave master in an actual song, and put up a faux southern black accent. If you really think finding offense for what someone is doing is "pulling the race card" you really are just racist and don't want to bother hearing about the issue. Read up before you start jumping in, please.
