xzxyyxzx 116
nicki: *** hoe b---h hoe gaga: And I know that it's complicated, but I'm a loser in love, so baby Raise a glass to mend all the broken hearts Of all my wrecked up friends This is so difficult. Yea "in the morning buy me eggs" such innovation Have you even listened to grand piano? Buy a heart? Save me? Don't just make accusations like that cause that's a completely false statement, I'll have to side with gaga though she's a better song writer but nicki is pretty close edit: I saw your reply saying you were just joking haha
Bradley 59,110
You can't really compare them this way. One writes in terms of hip hop, one writes literary.

DrewStevens 5,249
Both are great. But I give it to Gaga cause her lyrics have to be shorter and they have to fit with the melody.
amenART 429
is this even a real question :madge: obviously Gaga
Wolf 1,328
Yes, gaga has songs with great lyrics but her albums haven't truly showcased her ability to write. I know that she is capable to write, but her talent doesn't fully reflect much on her work. Perhaps on her next album On the other hand, with Nicki's latest album, almost all the lyrics are her past albums tho BUT ONE OF MY FAVES WOULD BE HER VERSE ON "MONSTER" :worship2: It's a tie for me. I do wish for a collab tho

Yanko 9,860
I am just going to say they are both equally talented writers. They know they are great lyricists but they also know that they have to dumb down their lyrics and put on a guise in order to be successful in the music industry. Thus, they haven't reached their lyrical zenith yet despite the fact that they might want to They'll do it someday and Gaga is probably gonna do it sooner than Nicki now that Gaga has been maturing her inage more faster than Nicki nicki is a great altho she does write some stupid **** sometimes lol u ant really compare them because gaga is a pop singer

Pinkprint is obviously better lyrically than her previous albums but the half album still have the words:*****,****,s-x all the time.
VforVendetta 2,024
gaga: Neptune, Go. Now serve Pluto. Saturn. Jupiter. Mercury, Venus - uh ha! Uranus! Don’t you know my ass is famous? Mars. Now serve for the gods, Earth, serve for the stars! nicki: Cherish these nights, cherish these people. Life is a movie, but there will never be a sequel. And I'm good with that, as long as I'm peaceful. As long as 7 years from now, I'm taking my daughter to preschool. Cherish these days, man do they go quick. Just yesterday, I swear it was o' six. Ten years ago, that's when you proposed. I look down, yes I suppose. let's make this a holy war :madge: ... I'm basically trying to tell you what gyp is saying. The Venus bridge is legendary. :Madge: Are we seriously comparing Gaga with Nicki Minaj? Eww, don't lower the level that much.
Truth 90
I go for Nicki, but they are both poor song writers...
Dominic 11,922
They are two completely different types of writing style. If you want to really compare then compare JD or Cake to Only or her Monster verse. On the other hand compare one of Nickis more pop hits like Stupid Hoe or Starships to say Bad Romance or Dance In The Dark. Nicki is the better rap writer and Gaga Pop writer. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it
