Yes it did top the iTunes chart..But what we call a chart-topper is an album that topped billboard 200.Don't make it so hard :coffee:

Maybe you do. Topping certain chart = chart topping

She is some kind of the rebel you can't deny that

Of course I CAN deny that, are we serious now? NO Pop star is a rebel. Calling yourself a rebel doesn't make you one as well. Making ''statements'' in your safe zone and acting like you want to change the world while you bath with th emoney the capitalism offers you while 50% of your country is under the limits poverty doesn't make you a rebel. Of course it's a good thing but Madonna is not John Lennon, let's not.

I didn't say she is same kind of rebel like Ghandi, Luther King and the rest.

There are the different kinds of rebels standing up against various topics.

Sorry, I feel like those pictures are posted as if implying those heroes approve the album or its artwork, and their faces getting a rebelheart photoshop.
But she is only doing that for people who had passion to do things. They have a rebel heart. It doesn't necessarily mean that it's like if they approved of it, it is just for fun

Maybe you do. Topping certain chart = chart topping

Nope. Topping VARIOUS charts = Chart Topping

That's not even controversial, just embarrassing

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

She is not more rebel than you, me or any other human that fights for his rights and survival. The fact that she has a voice the masses can sound doesn't make it any different. She doesn't make the change.

Madonna has done extensive philanthropic work in Africa, she has two black children, and her vagina has been filled with nearly every color cock on the market. We can all agree that she is not racist. So what is the problem here? Insensitivity? Grow up.

Gaga and Madonna both use vaguely offensive political and religious imagery in their art. Mahatma Gandhi rising from the dead via Mind Craft is probably offensive to some individuals. Madonna's altered images of Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandela are probably offensive to some individuals.

To quote my fellow cis-gender, privileged, white devil, ****lord Stephen Fry, “It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so ****ing what."

If you are offended by this then don't buy her art, instead spend that money on the book The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness by Michelle Alexander. Read it, get perspective, and funnel your outrage into something more productive then a tumblr post.

I love Stephen Fry as much as the next guy (no, I actually love him more) but that quote has been proven again and again as both wrong and apologist bull****. It's a go-to quote for misogynists and racists to the point it's become a meme because they (willfully?) misinterpreted what he said. It's from a 2006 debate with Hitchens, in which he was talking about it being patently ridiculous that a (Christian) majority in a country can have a persecution complex and simultaneously create laws that ban anything that offends their sensibilities, though they are the ones who actually have control.

He gets "easily offended" (and admits it) when it comes to homophobia and anti-Semitic idiocy because these are two things he is personally affected by most. Same as most other people who get miffed by something they disproportionately suffer from.

Amazing post :legend: Idk anything about the last paragraph though :emma:

It should be noted that Stephen Fry is gay though so he definitely has had his fair share of discrimination and prejudice too

Oh come on now, he's gay so he can't be wrong about the experiences and lives of any other oppressed minority ever? That's some selective BS. I love him but he's literally the most privileged a LGBT person can be: white, male, British and college-educated.

I disagree.
