Stellar film version of a classic Broadway musical (itself based on the darker side of seminal fairy tales). Stephen Sondheim's gorgeous score has been adapted with a 60+ piece orchestra, and Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Chris Pine give stand-out performances.
