It wasn't funny :spin:

Even though ironic doesn't equal funny, for me it was, and probably also for not-pressed-about-everything members too :kissga:   :later:

No but I don't think ironic fits in that context anyway; sarcastic does :sis:

No matter how many times it happens, I still get uncomfortable when Britney is compared to artists.

The comment was "No other contemporary stars (even during their peaks) had the impact Gaga had." No where does it say artists. And Britney has had more creative control then she's given credit She's cowritten many songs for her albums, Infact all of her albums since Oops I Did It Again have had credits from her. 2013s Britney Jean had the most credits for her, she worked on all of them. On top of that, many of her most iconic outfits and videos were from her ideas.

I have seen not one indication that she has any musical skill beyond dance, but I will take your word that some ideas were hers, or at least were born from ideas of hers.

All of these songs have writing credits from Queen britney http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Songs_written_by_Britney_Spears

And many of them are discography highlights including Brave New Girl, Hold On Tight, Everytime, Cinderella and Scary.

The next question would be how much she had to do with the writing of each song ("Perfume", for example, has Sia written all over it). Honestly, I'm not here to dump on Ms. Spears, I just don't see how her artistic input can compete with that of Madge, Gaga, etc.

I'm not saying britney has as much artist input as them but she's defintely an artist.

Both fan bases are truly obsessed with each other, that's for sure. I definitely like when there is more peace between the fan bases. Yes, I know that's not always easy when there is suspected shade between the two women... but I REALLY don't think Madonna hates Gaga. Madonna can be a bit of a b*tch sometimes, but I also have a feeling she knows when she's gone too far, and her intentions aren't pure evil or anything. Plus she has a very dark sense of humour.

I love both artists so much. :-)
