I wanted to go to South Korea, and my father wouldn't want it if we weren't going to China and North Korea too :laughga:

And I think that, if you follow their rules, it's probably the safest country in the world for a tourist tbh. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Mass Games (google it :manicure: ).

Oh, that does look exciting. Stay safe tbh.

Going to NK next year :excited2:

not going to say anything bad in case they read this :eli:

But honestly, why is it necessary for American movies to always have strong anti-German, anti-Russian or anti-NK propaganda? If there's a spy, or something remotely close to 'bad' - like a(n) (cyber)attack, it's always a Russian or a German that has done it. Why?

IKR, THANK YOU.

I guess they need that for their patriotism

OOOH who published a recent one? The Lisa Ling one (I think it's the one being referred to) is like 2009-ish, I think.

I love yomni park

but what do you guys think of all the critic saying shes exagerrating??

I want to believe her

I don't think she's exaggerating. I live in an ex communist country and I know from my family how horrible things were.  My granny spend time in concentration camp along with her family, cause her grandfather owned a lot land so they declared him a fascist and he never came back after they arrested him. My mom was arrested twice for listening to "western music" and the second time they beat up her and her friend at the police station and then fired my granny from her job, also they were forcing all the kids to go and work on the tobacco fields that were in the area. My father also was expelled from the party for telling a joke and they were about to sue him and declare him "enemy of the state". Thank god the regime fell closely after(2 years before I was born).  I'm from Bulgaria and we were a satellite state of the Soviet union till the Revolutions of 1989. From 1944 to 1989 the communist party killed 31000 people according to their official records, but the actual number is much much higher(more than 100000), also there are no numbers for the killings when the "revolution" was happening and people were disappearing everyday. Also keep in mind that our regime was very considered very "liberal" compared to others, we were even criticized for it from Russia a lot. So that's why I'm not doubting a word this girl is saying.

Sorry for the very very long post. :laughga:

I'm still in Bulgaria. We have democracy now tho. :haha: We're even in the EU. But people still remember the horrible things that were happening 25 years ago. We were lucky in the sense that our economy was very good during the communist regime, so there were enough money and people weren't starving to death the way it happens today in N. Korea.

it's the one by etherium sky published in 2013. it's interesting how things have changed since the vice one was made. he gets into NK in a way that isn't shady and he's allowed to bring music and stuff
