monsterdreams 1,529
Well, in the end, America have way more supporters than North Korea So Kim Jong Un can sort out his weave and leave (rhyme)! Luc 4,776
Going to NK next year not going to say anything bad in case they read this :eli: But honestly, why is it necessary for American movies to always have strong anti-German, anti-Russian or anti-NK propaganda? If there's a spy, or something remotely close to 'bad' - like a(n) (cyber)attack, it's always a Russian or a German that has done it. Why?
teo 609
It really is unnecessary to have a movie on the assassination of a country's leader tho imo If it's one that is responsible for executing thousands of it's people, starving millions to death, forcing children in to labor and an endless list of other wrong doings and all of this while enjoying a luxurious life... You're saying he's a "country leader" like he deserves some respect for it when in reality I can't think of a death horrible enough to suit him. Communism around the world has killed a lot more people in concentration camps that Hitler ever did, would you ever ask if it's necessary to have movies about his atrocities? teo 609
exactly. north korea is essentially a hostage situation and the kims are their captors, not leaders. Yeah! People need to watch this video(I think it was posted on GGD too) to get a sense of what it's like to live in N. Korea and how watching the wrong movie can get you and your whole family publicly executed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufhKWfPSQOw

Luc 4,776
Praying for your safety. Don't take picture recklessly, you can be shot down. They're not stupid, if they shoot somebody down for no reason they could have so many sanctions put on them. The Western world gives a lot of food and such every year to North Korea to stay 'friends'. But I won't do anything like that, I'll ask politely when I want to take a picture, and when I'm not allowed to, I won't.

uo111 5,283
Imagine what would happen if the movie was not on N Korea but on some other country....what would have been people's reaction? It would have been the same No, people would not threaten terrorist attacks. People would be upset, as they are allowed to be. The way you speak, it's like this hasn't been done before. It has, for the president of the united states, in a non-comedy. And North Korea loved it.

So it's easier to use those in a movie. Imagine they made Dutch leaders evil in a movie. It wouldn't make much sense. And why are you going to NK? I'd be so paranoid. Have you heard of people being kept prisoners?

I wanted to go to South Korea, and my father wouldn't want it if we weren't going to China and North Korea too And I think that, if you follow their rules, it's probably the safest country in the world for a tourist tbh. I'm really looking forward to seeing the Mass Games (google it ).
