Chic 20,830 Posted December 23, 2014 Share Posted December 23, 2014 Being one of the few true gaga fans, I'm still dying for ARTPOP act II, ARTPOP was lady gaga in FULL effect she had the most creative control out of any of her albums, so if you don't like ARTPOP please get the **** out and never call yourself a monster because the concept of ARTPOP is what lady gaga has ALWAYS been about I didn't know the title of "true Gaga fan" involved being a self righteous egotistical asshole, it's kind of ironic if you think about it Gaga had little to no control in the direction of ARTPOP, she literally went into depression halfway through the era after making a music video she didn't like and having her album endlessly crticized. aaronyoji 2,014 Posted December 23, 2014 Share Posted December 23, 2014 She says that it will not be similar to ARTPOP in the way it was made, she's probably going for a more organic approach - starting with the piano and lyrics, instead of a beat or electronic ready-to-go instrumental. She's not saying that the final product will be extremely different, perhaps it will be another EDM-filled album. What will change is that the production will be more organic, hopefully resulting in more emotional, relatable, catchy songs that can be made into amazing acoustic songs like PF, BR and Paparazzi. pf and br do not translate well into acoustic songs, its actually quite exhausting when she does that, they arent really written in any organic way, not until her more recent releases did her music become more written out, imo.
