No, for Rap/Hip Hop community and maybe for POC that didn't get as much advantage nor previlege with everything, in this case, releasing music and appreciated the same levels that whitey did most of the time.

You Iggy stan are hilarious.

That;s just the thing. Those are all good and valid points, but those are societal factors, and Iggy herself is unintentionally the focus of them. What are we going to do? Tell her to renounce all of her success for Fancy and other songs, don't accept any grammies if she wins any and bow out of rapping for ever? The only thing that seems reasonable would be to at least to change her voice... even though shes always rapped with it and emulated it.

She might be getting all of this praise and stuff because the media has portrayed her as a talented white rapper (shes average at best tbh), but she herself does not decide that. Even if shes the icon for this oppressive movement, I feel like anything people could say to her would be just as unfair. She's still a girl who spent 8 years trying to make it in America and finally made it as a rapper, she worked from not being able to rap at all to being decent ( :sis: ). We can discredit her success, but not her entire life story or struggle.

私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Didn't they say they were going to leak information about Darren Wilson and fellow cops from the Ferguson Police Department being a part of the KKK?  Do they actually even do things like that?

This is far wider than Iggy I believe. From what they're tweeting, her exposé will be the gateway to an industry wide one that exposes the corruption of the music business.

Or it's a troll.

Wolf Boy

Sigh.

I dunno, i like both girls, prefer Banks, but i don't know if this is the right way of going about things.

Should Iggy be able to defend herself when she's being attacked so strongly by someone, sure, but Banks's issues aren't about Iggys success, it really goes much deeper than that. I saw her latest interview on that radio show where she goes in really hard and angry on Iggy, T.I and this black vs white rap issue, and i was disturbed by just how passionate and emotional she got, not in a bad way, but this feels so much more about something rooted much deeper than Banks being jealous.

I'm not black so i can;t speak from experience, but i was both moved and worried by how this has affected Banks on such a powerful level and there seems to be a racial issue here i'm blind too not being in the thick of it myself, so i can't completely dismiss Banks's opinions, even if she can be a little aggressive. Iggy aside, i do find T.I's handling of the situation to be pretty poor, especially the "get a man to speak to me" bull****, it's just really pathetic, and i can;t defend Iggy with that "slave master" crap she pulled off too, what person in their right mind thinks that is a good idea to say when you are trying to break into a black dominated genre???? it just boggles the mind and it was a really poor move on her part.

Banks may need to take a bit of a chill pill, and as i said Iggy can certainly defend herself, however, Iggy seems to focus so much on "you are the reason you are not successful" blah blah blah, and i'm not sure she's really getting the ramifications of her words because she is white and is ignorant to the issue. I'm sure Iggy is a lovely person and really doesn't mean harm in the way Banks is making out, but she hasn;t really addressed the issue intelligently either. Banks has a little more i think, maybe a bit too aggressively and messy-like, but she really sat and spoke some **** during her latest interview, and whether you agree with her or not she too kthe time to really focus in on the topic and address is very strongly and gave her opinion, Iggy seems to just be skimming over it all, and that's fine if she feels she has zero interest in debating, but i dunno........i'm not sure she could say anything that would make Banks simmer down anyway, because as i said and even the radio host, this goes even beyond Iggy, it's an American social issue for blacks and it just feels so ugly at this point.
