yASSsss 35,510
All those people taking Banks' side,if u r so concerned about black culture,do something about it in real life.close GGD and join some social group or rallies.Don't act like u're so mature here on GGD on such topics.its not going to help black culture in any way. ur tweets or illogical posts here won't do any help.if u think u're trying to educate people on internet, then u're not helping at all. i hope they know whom am i talking about /cough/ gianni versace/cough Call me by your name and I'll call you by mine

Wet Fire 6,741
Probably Azealia wants Iggy to acknowledge that Iggy became successful with the recipe of black culture. Why would Iggy do that? Did Nicki ever acknowledge that she became successful (partly) because of tge pop hooks she puts in her rap songs? I'm just saying...
Guest
I just watched the interview, and I think AB does have very valid points that need to be talked about and confronted, but I still think she instigates a lot of s*** with people that is unnecessary. And I'm not on Iggy's side either, I know she's got a lot of s*** she needs to do and own up to too. I love both of these women's music, and I'll continue to listen to it, but the feuding is getting to be too much for me. I'm not gonna say anything else about anything regarding AB or Iggy unless it's something about them as individuals and their music. I'm not on anyone's side, and I do agree with AB about the things she said that need to be talked about and changed, and I hope the things she mentioned are confronted in the industry soon. *puts on headphones and bops to Broke with Expensive Taste and The New Classic*

This is a good point I love basically every rap girl and im SICK of every feud happening. Why cant it be Azealia Banks vs Katy Perry? At least that would serve kiis

Igloo Austraila 0
I really think she should surrender the name "azalea" That name is not her name. The culture she imitates is not her culture. Azealia Banks is a name that represents a real person. NOT a persona!! Im not sure Azealia Banks is the obsessed one here... Iggy imitates black culture. She renamed herself the name of a black female pier who was active in the rap inustry. She raps with an adapted southern accent. She is not from the south or even from this country. Amethyst Amelia Kelly needs to just give it up already!

Rat Boy 41,890
As someone who is a huge rap/hip-hop fan since they were a kid I have to side with Azealia. In my honest opinion you can not put Iggy up there with Kanye and Lil Kim (in her prime). She works hard but lacks talent in my opinion. She needs to stop dodging the real issue and start answering the questions that need to be answered. As time goes by more and more artists are calling her out and shading her and it will not stop until she actually addresses the underlying issue. Tropico 4,145
Iggy and many people need to realise this isn't about Iggy. Iggy is just an example of the current problem. Which is people who aren't making hip hop stealing from those who are. It's what some black people feel like is their only solid part of their life and when it's taken away from them and changed, it must hurt. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
