Firestarter 0 Posted December 19, 2014 Author Share Posted December 19, 2014 Chandelier IS one of the best songs of the year, if not THE best song, but how are the gonna tear down somebody that produces healthy vocals and accuse her of just "belting her way through" Jazz standards while the include a song that has sometimes questionable vocal techniques with somebody ACTUALLY belting her way through the chorus. It doesn't make sense to me, it feels like this was just included to spite her fanbase and Gaga herself. Sia's voice felt just right on the chorus of Chandelier to me tho but yeah, I didn't find anything wrong in the way Gaga sings on C2C either. however, I'm not a jazz expert to say for sure Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not to mention Tony's easy-going and soothing voice. It's not a great album, but it's not bad either. Keep in mind Perez Hilton used to be one of Gaga's biggest fans (and best friends) and... well you know how that ended up. It's en vogue to hate Gaga the past couple of years, just like it was in fashion to love her during TFM and early BTW. I think Slant is really just interested in catering to the masses.
