I disagree and think that comparison is extremely dangerous. Azealia singing in Spanish is NOT the same as Iggy literally ripping off black culture, talking "ghetto" and basically basing her entire character off of a marginalized group. (Also, Banks is from New York and grew up with Dominican culture surrounding her....Iggy is from Australia....) You are correct in that music should be for everyone but when the Grammy's are being given to Macklemore and Iggy when there are OBVIOUSLY better albums being released by black artists, something is not right

Madonna has used Latin rythms and looks since the True Blue era, plus she wasn't born in a latin country and I don't see anyone complaning, I am latino and I've loved every single time she has done that

i live in Europe and i honestly have never heard anyone use the term reverse racism. all i know is that anyone can be a racist. no matter what they are. and there are all kinds of racisms it can be racial, gender, social class etc etc. implying that people of minorities such as black people in the US cannot be racist seems so out of place for me  

and the fact is that thinking a woman isnt capable of doing rap or hip hop music because she s white is pure racist no matter how people try to twist it. its the exact same thing as saying a black woman can only be a cleaning lady or that a woman cannot be director in a company and so on.
