I don't think he is attacking all artists with low sales. I think he is criticizing all the artists who do a lot of promo and then fail to sale albums because the first singles were the only good tracks of the album.

He's one of the best lyricist and rappers in recent times, in all time imo. 

J.Cole is one of the only rappers that rap about real **** and not just d--gs, ***, and cars. He is a true lyricist and his flow is amazing. He makes amazing and real rap music. He's right. No features, no singles, no bull****.

I love him, but I don't agree at all. There are many underrated acts who won't get known because of their record label's lack of support. Just look at Jonas Myrin, Neon Hitch, Natalia Kills, and Porcelain Black. If you are signed and your label doesn't like your music, no matter how great it is, then that's not the your lack of talent :shrug:

"Reputable" as in super biased individuals who write for random websites. They don't have any more credibility than some random person.

I hate the idea that metacritic is somehow better. They include scores of zero and 100 and several of their websites give more than one score for one thing but they only count one. Metacritic scores are as meaningless as the user scores. The most meaningul things about reviews are what they say because then you can at least tell if they are haters or bandwagoners.
