She wasn't actually on the edge of glory, it was a metaphor. She wasn't gonna marry the ****ing night. get your head out of your ass man. she said "artistic rape". I don't know how you can't see that so those kids that died in pakistan, that's karma too? My friend who just lost his mother to cancer two weeks ago, that's karma? Get the **** out of here I never said it wasn't a metaphor. It IS a metaphor. It means falling out of love is like breaking your heart in the way that the heart is the source of love. In Judas, Gaga is someone in love with someone LIKE Judas. In TEOG she feels LIKE she's on the edge of glory, the end of her life. See the keyword? Like. I never said "artistic rape" is not a metaphor. I said it was a poor choice of words, as rape is not a light verb. Leaking music does not physically mutilate you, degrade your existence, or leave you suicidal and incapable of ever having s-x again (or in this context, music). Not to mention afraid to leave your house, and you definitely don't have to experience rape kits. Same goes for terrorism. Leaking music doesn't kill anyone. I understand she's upset but she's being insensitive considering the terrorist attack that just occurred. The one who needs to pull their head out of their ass here is you, since you're the one who kept unnecessarily degrading other members because they didn't agree with you. It's not about how people meant to use a word. It's about how its usage desensitizes people to it. If she had said "Leaking my music is so gay" you would have probably been all over her ass about it. It works the same with with rape. "We got raped during the game". Whoever says that doesn't mean it's literal rape, but it doesn't take away from the fact that rape is a real thing and by giving it a rather harmless context, people will take it less seriously. Yes she is still making music and killing it even after spending 3 decades in the entertainment industry. She is the reigning Queen of Pop and she does not need to resort to such desperate measures.
