Hasn't Madonna learned to take notes from Kylie Minogue on how to age gracefully with music?

I loooooooooooove Kylie but I think you didn't hear songs of her last album such as Sexy Love, Milllion Miles or Les Sex... such bops but not something a 46 yo would sing about  :spin:

I'm on my second listen, and I really love some songs now.

Messiah is praised so much by everyone - I finally get it.

Rebel Heart would be a great single.

Joan of Arc is awesome, it reminds me of Devil Wouldn't recognize you

Living for love is my favorite so far, the actual thing is so much better than the snippet made me believe

Let me quote Azealia here

It’s not about Lady Gaga, I promise you. It's her little fanbase, they’re crazy. They want everything to be about Lady Gaga. But it’s not about ****ing Lady Gaga.

"Illuminati" is not about Gaga. She is mentioned, yeah. Along with a gazillion other people, including people Madonna is friendly with such as Beyonce, Jay Z, Rihanna and even Madonna collaborator Kanye West. Is she hating on them too by mentioning them? Stop making this about Gaga because it clearly isn't.

You can move along now ...

why are you defending Madonna so adamantly?

Because I hate how some people here think that hating Madonna equals showing loyalty or love towards Gaga. I can love both and correct people who don't even know what the Gaga/Madonna feud was about. It was never a "feud" between them, it was a feud between camps and both fanbases.

Before the "reductive" comment happened, she showed support for Gaga. She went to the Fame Ball, when a lot of people were still sleeping on Gaga, including most Madonna-hating Little Monsters on here. This was all before Bad Romance, before Gaga exploded and became a household name. After a quick hello backstage at the Fame Ball, Madonna invited Gaga to her managers birthday party in 2009 as well. Gaga accepted and was rubbing shoulders with Madonna before everything else. Then Madonna and Gaga at SNL happened late 2009. Things were fine, Madonna has always shown support for her popculture "daughters". See Britney, Kylie ...

Then Gaga did Alejandro with longtime Madonna director and friend Steven Klein. He had never worked on music videos before, besides his many projects with Madonna. It was Gaga's boyfriend and creative director at the time, Matthew Williams (aka Dada) who pushed Gaga to use Klein for Alejandro. Madonna stayed mute on the entire situation, even when it was clear Gaga's team was keen on making Alejandro a Madonna inspired video. The gun bra, the Vogueing scene, Klein being the director... Educate yourself.

When Born This Way happened Madonna stayed mute as well. Until every single interview in support of MDNA/Superbowl featured questions about Gaga. Madonna was slightly annoyed but was never "angry" with Gaga. Using Born This Way on stage was funny and correct in it's place... Quick and done on tour. Not an emotional breakdown on a radiostation like Gaga did with the Perez/Madonna thing on Howard Stern. Gaga seems to be more upset with Perez constantly mentioning Madonna rather than Madonna herself. Madonna invited Gaga on stage at the MDNA tour to perform the Express Yourself/Born This Way mash up at Yankee Stadium in NYC. Gaga declined. Even when "dissing" Gaga, Madonna always mentioned how talented Gaga was/is, how she reminds her of her younger eighties self. The only ones who blew it up are drama queens like you and other online queens, including Perez. Madonna doesn't give a f*ck about the Gaga feud. Queens like you however, live for it, while you should be

Where ever you have came from, please stay and continue to educate everyone for this fanbase's sake. :applause:

People who have been here since the start know most of what you're saying but it's always the ones who hopped on during BTW or ARTPOP who think Madonna just randomly hates Gaga when that's FAR from the truth.

If I recall right, didn't Madonna also mention seeing Gaga before she even had a single out (or perhaps Just Dance) in a club once and Madonna loved her?

She was talking about Fame Ball when she said that. Madonna was at the NYC show at Terminal 5.

I personally don't spend a lot of time thinking about the whole thing. You're the one who quoted me, so how was i starting drama? I said my own take on a situation. Besides, I thought performing born this way with express yourself was a really cool move on madonnas part anyway. I just thought that the illuminati track was really stupid, and using GaGa's name was more for the headline than for artistic purposes. You could've just let me have my comment and think your own opinions of me, but instead you quoted me and started drama, then said that I was living for the drama.
