I just thought those pics were there to show Ville's girlfriends like Kat and Jonna. But then they included pics with fans. And that one reporter in shorts who wanted to sit in his lap...almost.

Yes, I get that, but imagined that they were more trying to show Ville and the girls together.

Yes, it is true, and here we are, in Corona Bar on Eerikinkatu. A pool cue is insolently pointing towards the ceiling from between long, skinny legs. A hand clad in a fingerless glove is languidly rubbing chalk on the tip of the cue. 

The man preparing for a pool game is a 27 year old from Helsinki who has just been voted world’s sexiest man by the readers of world’s biggest rock magazine Kerrang. Rock Sound gave him the title of Hunk of the Year.

The cue is starting to be ready, but the game still has to wait because the phone rings. “Ville Hermanni”, the hunk of the year answers and continues: “Hey there. What’s up?”

The phone call is short, and Ville Valo opens the game with a shot that efficiently breaks up the balls.

“When we were recording our third album, I must have played here every night. Nowadays it happens less often”, Valo says and deftly bags a few balls.

He can play in peace. Only a few beanie-wearing fans come to ask for an autograph. I guess this can only happen in Finland..."
