I have watched that concert, love it. Is this concert fully to blame for why you see people claiming that Ville was on cocaine or is there more to it? Or just that being young and a rockstar, of course one will try cocaine? I have seen it said a few times, but then Ville is known moreso for the drinks.

I watched a lot of the latest Helldone videos on my huge tv last night, they are great. That one video with the huge bra flying at Ville's head during Poison Girl is even funnier to see on there. lol

even on that sacrament forum they say he was on coke during this. I find it suspicious how many times he mentioned it like "did you notice when you step on sugar, it looks a bit like cocaine", like wtf?   He already knew Bam that time so...but it's true he was mostly known for drinking too much. 

This is probably the period when he tried it?

 

His voice didn't suffer much there, but only in 2005/2006 during Dark Light, his vocals were very weak, I can't find many performances I like...which is a shame, cause I love the songs from that album. 

Oh it's nice to watch Ville on big screen I bet.

@SubRosa OMG those two concerts that you posted are the two concerts that he reminds me of Jim Morrison the most and are among my favorites that I have come across on youtube.  He seems a bit wilder, yet in a distant calm in these and on his own edge of anything happening. Cocaine is a helluva drug, as is always said. I am addicted to it and can't get near it. That being said, I would have loved to know Ville during THAT time If I were ever honestly suicidal, I'd let coke do me in and would have loved to do it with Ville, the drug, that is. Just saying. I am clean now. Ville seems to be too. They seem hard on Ville at that forum.

I do think that Sacrament forum is where I first and usually only heard that he was on coke. There are some comments on youtube videos too.

Dark Light must have been his and the bands most successful and wildest times, because of fame and money? Expensive friends?

omg sis, stay away from that evil.  

Yeah I didn't really believe those rumors, sometimes it's hard to tell was he drunk or high. He's anyway a poet and little bit crazy haha, so it's not easy to guess...to me at least.

But then that stupid open letter by Bam, and the guy is reading like Bam's words "if Ville wanted coke, I'd bring him coke, if he wanted adderall, I'd bring him adderall", just talking about being his enabler and almost killing him. Well, you've seen it too. So I guess that confirms it. 

I'm really happy how he overcame all that, he said before he's in it for the music, not money, girls, fame or drugs and when he was very young he said he'll quit even smoking if his music will suffer and he tried before and it took long time and now it seems to be for good! 

Yeah exactly, most succesful album and with that too many parties and crazy friends like Bam and that Novak guy. Also there was another friend who died from drugs, remember?

I think he was on drugs, the way he looked, and acted... Idk, but since that time he was already friends with Bam, i think it's a good chance

I'm happy he overcame it too, even the cigs! I hope he starts running and somebody take a picture of it  haha I love the fact that he's taking care of himself, I don't want him gone any soon

Yes. Drugs are the end of the line. Ville motivates me right now to drop even cigarettes. I am clean besides those. I doubt Ville will be pictured running, he seems to know how to stay out of the media when he is away. A good and bad thing, lol.

I don't see why he worries so much about competition and charts. Bands and especially, metal bands are all their different parts and ways that make up the sum of it, we need all of them and charts do not matter, nor competing with other bands. There is only one HIM and that is enough, they are different and still needed.

That would be so fun to see him running.  There is one gif, I can't find it now.

Yeah but he should know that all artists suffer from lack of sales unless you're Adele.  

They were signed to Warner, lots of promo, it was different time. It's important that they can still tour, that's where their money is and the merch.

Also because he's refusing to use social media, I bet the sales for next album would be bigger than expected if he would do some promo on twitter/instagram/facebook.

He is too good in hiding. It's annoying. ?

Even in Tavastia, we don't know WHEN they arrived or when they left. We saw the car in front. Inside there is 'semifinal', smaller venue, I went there to female toilet hoping to bump into any of them.  But no. There was a guy standing in front of the way to backstage, they were so well protected.

These fans who met him, they have so many pictures with him, I guess also more experience how to find him.
