I think it's ok to say that they made him look older, cause I think they did, but comments about him getting old or negative comments about his or anyone looks or lifestyle I will never understand. Nothing new tho. We see it every day. Which is sad.

Those pics were okay, I agree with you that there is no need to bash them so much. I couldn't imagine being famous and being critized for something you are actually not known. Ville and Gaga are both musicians, and known from their art. Looks are only a "bonus" if that's a right word, I dont stan for anyone for what they look like. Even though Gaga is gorgeus natural beauty and Ville is literally a dream man :gaycat:

Listening now Razorblade Romance, what a great album still after all those years. I had it on repeat when I was 14, also Deep Shadows later when it came. Gone with the sin is a masterpiece. It also made me a fan. :saira: I had of course heard Join Me and Wicked Game, they were everywhere, but I was not at all into rock music then, I only listened those pop groups.. Then things happened in my life that made me search music I could feel. I heard Gone with the sin and thought "thats a beautiful melody, why I have not liked them before?". Then I searched their music more, and hard rock/grunge/metal in general.

What was the song or album that made you a fan? (I'm sure this has been discussed before but I want to know, lol) And how/where you found them?

I'm honestly not sure exactly, my memory is so bad.

I THINK a friend of a friend was a fan and I remember listening Razorblade Romance and I was intrigued by "I Love You (Prelude To Tragedy)", Razorblade Kiss" (that mmmmmmm is so addicting), of course Join Me and Gone With The Sin... I remember a controversy around Join Me in Death lyrics. His voice was like out of this world. Also have to say, I've never seen a prettier man.

I think by the time DSBH came out, I was a fan.

Internet was new thing there and I was already searching for all the bootlegs and videos is crappy quality. I was watching German MTV and VIVA channels, they were so popular in Germany at the time, I was recording all the videos and interviews on vhs (I'm pretty sure I lost them all).

Heartagram.com had a chatroom, I was there 24/7. :yay:

Good times. I wish I could go back and relive it all.

It was Join me and RR. The song was obviously everywhere, but can't remember where I'd heard it. Probably on some German or maybe even local TV station. Cause I was watching German music channels all the time and they were the most popular there at the time. Then someone had bought me RR for my birthday and that was it. I was singing in a choir at the time and I remember all the girls drooling over Ville. lol

Wow TODAY all this Ville :air: naturally I say he looks gorgeous as ever and always and as past days:tea::hor::heart::saira::rockstar:

@PennyroyalTea I wasn't a fan until recently, last year because of @YourSweet666 here on this forum. I knew about HIM but never paid any attention to the music on my own. I'd heard Join Me and saw the video back in the day when everyone loved it and I thought it was catchy and that Ville was just too pretty. I was a really busy person back then during all of that and only paying attention to what was directly around me or in front of me, to pass by.

In 2007/ 2008, I had a really special sort of time with a friend, mentor and they would always direct me to liking HIM and wonder what I thought about Ville and all of it and they would play HIM songs to me and our special song and video was the Rock AM Ring performance of Bury Me Deep Inside and the song album recording itself and then I became a sort of fan of their songs by subject matter and lyrics, but still didn't look into the band or albums, though I would say that I liked the music by then. So, since then, it's seemed I was always led to be a fan of HIM, but would never sit still and give in, until later here on this forum.

I've written this here before though, so sorry to bore You All:toofunny:

Oh this is funny and I forgot to add this to my introduction to HIM and Ville. Back in the day, I was a Marilyn Manson fan and he had just released Mechanical Animals and started a huge MM BBS and I spent all of my online time there and I always remember this one member, let me add that I remember her for her avi and her obnoxious trying to get attention skills, she had Ville's picture, just his face and the pink background, from the famous Razorblade Romance cover, as her avi and I thought for at least probably two years that it was HER in the picture. lol.

All of this is even funnier when I think on it, because Marilyn Manson was the ugliest monster of Metal back then, but I liked him because he was so intriguing and smart and then at the time, Ville was the younger and prettiest glam boy heartthrob, that ALL the metal girls loved. And all of this was my beginning of my personal online introduction as well and as being a Manson fan too. I only liked Manson during his Long Hard Road Out Of Hell video, glam days and after.

Oh what a time:gaycat:
