Thanks for these elaborate replies girls.:D

I'm not really knowledgeable about vocal ranges and technicalities in singing :air: , so I wanted to know your opinion. I didn't bring up first 4 albums, cause it's kind of obvious that Ville in his early 20s will sound different from Ville these days, getting closer to age of 40.

I just noticed the change in color(?), like just with this song Passion's Killing Floor and I somehow love the 2007/2008 vocals the most, but like Sister said, it seems like he got vocal lessons, so he's nowadays technically better?

In that 2013 video Maxidrom, he sounds a bit like he did in 2007.

Some fans were making fun or couldn't recognize his voice here :duck:

His voice sounds a lot brighter in that version, you said it correct @VampireHeart the colour is different. I used to sing in a choir for six years and learned a lot about technics, ranges and colours. :)

I'll stick to the original version. :D

God bless this cameraman. :D

I love the studio versions and early performances of these songs, but there is something magical in the way he's singing them last few years idk. :flutter:

The Youth remix:hor:.

It sounds vampiric, reminds me of Michael Hutchence. I can't wait for the actual full song.

in the beginning here when he says "uusi kappale" his voice is like young Ville again!

So it's actually still there, just buried under all the smokes. :neyde:

Welcome @OCDeidre this is great news! :sara:

I just can't get over the sound of his voice on the first album. :( It's unexplainable what it does to me. That album is perfection, every song on it is beyond amazing, and that voice... so deep, so soft, and so dark... I can't find the words to describe his singing on this chorus particularly, don't know why...

Truly one of the best albums ever...

Very true, a great classic album and so under-rated. <3
