So, we've all heard the comparisons with looks between Johnny Depp and Ville Valo and there are the others whom he gets compared to, one of them is Willem Dafoe, a great actor. I was just watching one of his movies lately and was reminded of his being compared to how Ville looks in the video, Heartkiller, one of my favorites. While I really hadn't thought it before, I could sort of see where the comparison comes from, but to be honest, Willem Dafoe has always looked enough like David Bowie to get my attention. I don't think that this is a bad comparison and to me, it's better than the Johnny Depp one and I think that lately Ville has been looking more like himself in the Heartkiller video, so this can be a plsu for myself.

So, here are a few comparisons with the movie that I watched and I recommend, it's a good movie, maybe a bit too art house slow New York, for some though. It's called 4:44 Last Day On Earth.

But I love Ville's looks in Heartkiller video, more than before. <3

That's cool, we all have our different tastes. A lot of people say that Willem Dafoe has a junkie look about him.

About that news, I like the title of the album at least, Evesdroppers. We'll see what it's like, I suppose AND who's on it.

I can see some similarities between Ville and Dafoe, but Ville is much prettier to me. I think it's the cheekbones and maybe nose. Don't really understand that thing with Depp though, I could never see the resemblance.

Ville would have more feminine features to Dafoe's more masculine features and bone structure, in my opinion. Dafoe looks similar to Bowie's bone structure and body type to me, still masculine, but lanky wormish / boyish, not feminine, at all. Bowie and Ville though can pull off androgyny, but I wouldn't say that Dafoe could. But Bowie makes for an ugly awkward girl. lol
