i don't think you "get it perfectly" or you would understand hip hop and it's sub culture, it's not random insults. if you have a beef or an issue with someone in hip hop you prove your talents by doing a 16 bar freestyle over a beat
and the other party is suppose to respond accordingly.
it's how hip hop was started and is suppose to be before all the posers and bandwagoners came along.

to have beef generally means that person did something to you. Otherwise is just random insulting

Pitbull's first single was 'Culo' from his debut album 'M.I.A.M.I.' which is less hip hop than 'The New Classic'. His music has always been an hybrid of dance music and hip hop just like Iggy's music is an hybrid of pop/dance and hip hop.

The genre they choose is irrelevant. Azealia Banks chose to rap over house beats and she is still a rapper.

Iggy Azalea is a rapper. Her career is based on her rapping over beats.

'Pop girl' is not an occupation. 'Singer', 'rapper', 'songwriter' and 'record producer' are.

Pitbulls first album is actually way more hardcore reggitone  and more hip hop then the New classic. he way more  credible and has earned his respect he didn't even have to change his accent and be fake. unlike Iggy.

Azealia Banks, i don't even use her but she has way more talent at rapping over whatever beat she chooses then Iggy ever will.

Iggy can (or you) can believe she's a real rapper still won't make it true.

Pop girl is an occupation seeing as how she is a girl who happens to be popular for the moment rapping over pop beats... :manicure:

Iggy is a rapper. Her talent is irrelevant in the matter. Selena Gomez is obviously less talented than Ariana Grande but she is still a singer because her occupation is being a singer.

There are no "real rappers" or "fake rappers".

Look up for the term rapper. Get educated in the matter and then come back with a better argument on why Iggy Azalea is not a rapper. Also "pop girl' is not an occupation, it's not up to discussion because pop girl is a slang not a real term.

Nope she's still not a rapper, her talent or  lack thereof is quite relevant.

Don't even know why you're trying to bring slaylena and Ariana into this but whatever works for you...

Theirs actually quite a few "real rappers" and far too many "posers"

Rapper- Rapping (or emceeing,[1] MCing,[1] spitting bars,[2] or rhyming)[3] is "spoken or chanted rhyming lyrics".[4] The components of rapping include "content", "flow" (rhythm and rhyme), and "delivery".[5] Rapping is distinct from spoken word poetry in that it is performed in time to a beat.[6][7] Rapping is often associated with and a primary ingredient of hip hop music.

Her talent is irrelevant. That definition only makes it clear. She spokes rhyming lyrics. She has the components of rapping, the quality of them is a different thing. I mean... if you can't understand that definition maybe you shouldn't be using it as an argument.

Iggy Azalea is a rapper, but anyway I wouldn't expect you to understand that considering you think that a rapper has to rap over pure hip hop beats all the time to be considered a rapper.
