What do you not understand about human rights? Even the US signed a treaty declaring that it's an inherent human right to be free from torture, yet here we are. Also, there's no way to tell that any of the information they extracted would have saved anyone or anything. It's all propaganda to soften the blow that America is just as bad as some of our contemporaries, or even worse. Don't let the smoke screen fog your judgement. THIS. I love my country but this nation has committed so many atrocities abroad that you just can't ignore it. Involvement in Latin America, Middle East (Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Isreal), Asia (Vietnam, China, Laos, etc.), all in the name of "freedom" and "democracy" They can kiss my ass. This nation has done nothing but expand its interests using violence and making people believe in this hysteria of terrorism, and communism (Back in the 1950's - 1980's) That is the truth and this is my country. You're not denying the fact that you are in effect supporting torture, which I found extremely shocking and disgusting, which explains the harshness of my words - hence why I retracted part of my comments and apologised for them.
