Willy Wonka 4
http://www.buzzfeed.com/kyleblaine/senate-democrats-to-release-cia-torture-report-today It's 500 some pages, but this Buzzfeed article is constantly updating and providing highlights and reactions. This is disgusting and I'm embarrassed to be associated with a country that engages in this kind of activity. Shoutout to John McCain who, as a former tortured prisoner of war himself, has just come out in support of the report and bashing the CIA program by saying that "Our enemies act without a conscience. We must not."

Born Brave 2,072
2,996 people thats how many people died on September 11th 2001. Some of the behaviour in the report was dark and unfathomable. Most of these people would rather die than talk, they don't value their own lives and they don't fear death because according to their religion they would be rewarded in the afterlife. The information that was obtained by these techniques was no doubt invaluable to the search for terrorists wanting to harm innocent people. Perhaps they should think twice before attacking America again. That's all.
Voltaire 4,531
There is no natural disaster, no outside force, as devastating as what one human can do to another. Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker

Born Brave 2,072
Are we really trying to justify torture? Are we really trying to discount the information that was extracted as a result of the torture that saved no telling how many innocent lives?

Are you ****ing kidding me lol At least a fifth of the people there weren't supposed to be there, they acknowledge that in their report So **** off with this "9/11 justification" thing. How dare you use those people's deaths to justify the absolutely abhorrent stuff in this report, THAT OBAMA HIMSELF SAYS THEY SHOULD MOVE ON FROM. The information that was obtained by these techniques was no doubt invaluable to the search for terrorists wanting to harm innocent people. Perhaps they should think twice before attacking America again. That's all. Also for your information, your nonsense justification that they obtained valuable info is nonsense: The report concludes that harsh interrogations did not produce a single critical intelligence nugget that could not have been obtained by non-coercive means. Former CIA and government leaders, including former U.S. vice president Dick Cheney, dispute that conclusion.

FATCAT 60,888
Are we really trying to discount the information that was extracted as a result of the torture that saved no telling how many innocent lives? Torture as a means for extracting information has been determined as useless. Also, there's no way to tell that any of the information they extracted would have saved anyone or anything. It's all propaganda to soften the blow that America is just as bad as some of our contemporaries, or even worse. Don't let the smoke screen fog your judgement.
