Joey not coming out isn't harmless!

If you cringe too much the cringe might be permanently stuck on your face and it would be his fault.

Mess... you are contradicting yourself in the same post... also lol at the 'if you're famous you have to come out, if you're not nobody cares', if someone is holding back our community it's people like you :spin:

How am I holding the community back? You just WANT to make me look like a bad guy without actually reading what I wrote. If me being against successful LGBT individuals masquerading as something they are not to get further with their career is setting back our movement, lol.

Never did I imply that '' when u famous, you have to come out '' so you betta try harder to somehow paint me as a villain.

Yet many has told LG to Do What she wants with her body because it's her body. Do what she wants with her career because it's her career. Why impose a double standard on other famous people? We always want LG to be comfortable in her skin and be happy. Why can't we do that for others regardless of what makes them happy? I'm pretty sure that's how we treat LG right? As long as she is happy. As long as they are happy.

There are some things that we don't need to agree with just because it makes someone happy. If someone is happy living a '' lie '' in order to get ahead with their career, and make tons of money, then I'm not going to agree with that. And I doubt in the end, they'd enjoy living a life where you can't truly indulge on who you really are but okay.

I'm happy for him. The first video I watched of his I could kinda tell he was and the more videos I watched the more it seemed like it. Happy he now accepts himself for who he is.  :)

Exactly, i go around the forum and reply to random posts i don't read. :spin:

"don't fabricate a lie about you being straight, that's just ****ing cruel, and as said, sets our movement back loads, and makes you indefinitely a disgrace."

Some people take longer to realize and confront their feelings towards being gay. It is a defensive mechanism to deny it and A LOT of young people do it, not just celebrities. Assuming people are doing it for the fame and money is just ****ing stupid because 90% of the gay community did it. Coming out for a celebrity is just as tough as coming out for a normal person, they should have the freedom to do it on their own terms, when they want to.

You say you never implied that if you're famous you have to come out, yet you did. Like i said 90% of the community pretended to be straight for some time, some because they were afraid of losing their conservative family, or getting beat up or whatnot. And you say celebrities shouldn't pretend they are straight, immediately assuming they are doing it for the money/fame while they have the same reasons as any other closeted gay person.

You ARE holding back the community in the sense of not giving every LGBT member the same rights and discriminating them based on their success/fame. :hor:

When you are a public figure though, your s-xuality is less of a personal thing. We need people to come out and become role models of LGBT kids, and take a stand in general and show their support. The roster of such people in popular media is short and bleak. So to say '' who cares, it's just a s-xuality, they don't have to come out, it's none of your business etc '' is not exactly true either, and in general is a very toxic belief.

Oh and here you literally say 'when you are famous, you have to come out' :spin: :spin:

Your belief is the toxic one. Fame does not eliminate your right to your own private life and decisions.

Again you are contradicting yourself sayin 'we need people to come out and become role models of LGBT!!!' while also saying 'nobody is forcing them to be a model of the LGBT community, they just need to come out as a successful celebrity!!' :toofloppy:

So happy for him :)

I long for the day when people don't need to 'come out' and can just simply bring a boyfriend/girlfriend home

Y'all are full of ****, no one needs to come out, and no one gives a sh*t about what you think someone's s-xuality is. One's s-xuality should only be relevant to the said person and whoever they are in a relationship with, IF they are in one. Trying to guess someone's s-xuality is not only disrespectful, but it's also embarrassing. You're only pushing today's culture of stereotyping and assuming (this is, judging a book by the cover) forward. Be ashamed of yourselves.

Assuming someone is gay by the way the act/look/dress/whatever is extremely dumb and I would not expect to see it in a forum composed majorly by members of the LGBT community. This is ridiculous. How does it affect anyone that some people haven't came out? Also, being famous does not mean you HAVE to come out. Maybe they're not ready? Maybe they don't feel the need to? Maybe they don't want to? Or, (wait, this may blow you guys' minds) maybe they're not even gay? This forum disappoints me so much at times, I swear.

this.

Everyone gay guy goes through similar things. We have similar fears etc.  Like...  Just because he is famous doesn't mean he is fearless, doesn't mean he can't have feelings .....

YT is like a glass closet filled with raging homos-xuality. :lmao:

Since the topic turned in to a serious conversation here's my thoughts: I don't think anyone should feel obligated to come out. Although it is very good to do something nice to your community and contribute to changing things for the better, especially if you get to live your life literally doing nothing(cause c'mon people on yt don't really do **** lol). You know like paying back the universe for giving you chance to support your life without doing a real job. :haha: But sometimes even obviously gay people are not comfortable with being gay, so I don't think you should "come out" before sorting things for yourself first. But I also do believe that in cases like Joey Grasefa, who just doesn't need to come out and, it's not insulting to "insinuate he's gay" just cause he didn't said it himself, cause 1st this is not an insult, 2nd he really is so ****ing gay.  :laughga::toofunny:
