I had the same problem when I first listened to ARTPOP. It was like the vocals were pushed all the way to the front and the instrumental was way behind it but then I got used to it and I guess I subliminally mixed them together Also, what is it that everyone hates this song for? I want to know Imo the general pop stans disregard for this track is because its slow and isn't tailored for mass consumption. Im not saying its progressive or even particularly different or whatever, but its not like a radio pop track. I think it sounds sort of hypnotic. Idk I don't love it or anything but I think its good. Its sounds like something Kesha would put on a mixtape to be able to release stuff she wouldnt be able to release otherwise. Sounds like a fake version of the one we already have... Thats what I think, its like one of the many fan made "final versions" that came out after the original leaked because they didn't like how long it was.
