Pop 4,541
Ugh, this big Taylor love-in is making me nauseous. I thought the Red era was bad enough, but this is unimaginable levels of torture now. It's not like I can just switch her off until her next album. Each era lasts about 1.5 years and she releases an album every 2 years. How I long for the days when only American country fans cared about her. I'm actually kinda glad that she's taken her music off Spotify now, so she can't qualify for #1's in the UK, because she's currently there with Blank Space. If she gets #1's here we'll never be free of her. If I see one more article claiming she's a great songwriter, I might scream. You know, I think Lana's song, F****d My Way Up To The Top fits her so well. And considering how she blatantly ripped off Lana's style (and the chorus of Without You specifically) with Wildest Dreams, I wouldn't blame Lana for aiming this song at her. I actually had no idea that Big Machine was independent and she was their first signing and she's the most successful artist for them. And there's only 8 people on the books altogether. That would explain so much. This has just made me resent her even more. She really has had success all because of luck. She's far too lucky for someone of such limited talent. If I was appointed the new chairperson of the label, I'd give her such a wake-up call. I'd say no to all her prissy, childish songs and get her writing like the grown woman she is, for one thing. It's so annoying how her label don't force her to grow up. I'm her age and I'd be embarrassed to sing the stuff that she does. With Speak Now, it seemed like she was maturing, but then she seemed to get more immature over time, regressing back to what is now the 1989 era. It's sad. LMAO You literally sound SO pressed, it's hilarious. Nobody is checking for Lana's hipster **** anymore, get over it. People prefer Taylor's honesty any day. While Taylor slays everyone and is loved by everyone, Lana is flopping hardcore and the only person checking for her nowadays is Azealia Banks. So SEEEEEEEEEEEEETHEEEE! svvior 61
I'm making assumptions based on the music I hear and you make assumptions based on what someone says in an interview, lets agree to disagree But the interview was with Imogen Heap herself. Delusional but we can agree do disagree.
djBuffoon 12,053
"singing" But seriously, good for her. I admire that she knows exactly what she wants, and I hope she takes a step away from Max Martin for the next time out. He has done right by her so far, but I'd be interested to hear her collaborate with more brash, less glossy pop producer.

ThatSLAYGUY 68
Absolutely no hate or malice directed toward Taylor, she's earned what she's gotten in terms of single success and album sales. What I really detest, however, is when the media treats her like she's just put out some legendary album whose content is just far superior than anything released in a few years. I'm sorry, but 1989 is a solid pop album, with solid song writing and appealing songs; that's it. I think anyone that's trying to make it into this Legendary sized record fit for the gods is going waaaaaaay too far. To be honest I was expecting someone like Beyonce to hold the title and I'm just a casual fan of her. I thought that she had a much larger impact in terms of her surprise album release at the end of 2013 and her back to back concert tours and just her general visibility during the year. Apart from Beyonce, I can see others as well taking the title. I just feel that Taylor came in around the last quarter of the year with a successful lead and second single, and an album and all of a sudden she's God, something many artists have done before. Just seems a bit much to me. Again this is no way a hate filled rant against her. I just think that people and the media are making it more than it is I definitely agree, Taylor is amaze but I feel like people are hyping her out too much :/

I don't know why you always bother to write such long paragraphs to just bash an artist. Your posts are often full with flamebait but I guess just because you write them in nice pargraphs the mods will spare your from WPs. I'd like to give you such a wake-up call. I say no to all your bitter, long posts and would like you to relax a bit. It's just pop music.
