Great. Now we have straight and gay people on twitter using the f word because Azealia redefined it and made it seem cool because it was used against Perez Hilton. :fail:

People using the word were gonna use to anyway....

Y'all know how much I love Azealia but I wouldn't use such a word just because she used it. It's kinda stupid too.

I root for you. I love you. You, you, you, you.

Before people tell me to take off my "stan goggles," I would like to just clarify that I don't stan for Azealia. I liked her back in the day, lost interest, but I genuinely like her album. Overall I like her. She's no different to a lot of us.

I must say, that I don't think it's okay for her to say ******* if she does not think it's okay for white people to say ******. That is incredibly ignorant.

At the same time, she isn't homophobic. A lot of what she's saying is true. Gay people shouldn't do things like that. For the most part, gay men act like that more than straight men.

The f/n words still aren't okay, but I can see her point.

But you don't represent every fan. If you search the word on Twitter you are gonna see how some of her fans and Perez haters are proudly using the word and praising her for using it.

Words only hold power if you let them. If you're listening to AB, then you are most likey a grown-ass person who can decide whether or not they are going to let a word offend them. :Smh:

Nod if you wanna make love with the enemy. ❤

I'm sure Azealia would disagree if you were talking about the n word.

Anyway the problem are not people being offended by it. The problem is her using a derogatory term that has been used to oppress gay men for decades.

no me gusta

no me gusta at all

i get her point, and i get her way of doing things, and i get how she uses language much more liberally than other people, but there were about 1000 better ways to say this without having to throw out slurs

i know she doesn't mean to be hateful or mean, but come on az

literally you just said how you were hanging up your boxing gloves and becoming a lady and all of this goes down today?

no me gusta

For me, it's not that I'm offended. It's just unforunate how foolish she looks. It's true that words are subjective, but they are also probably the most powerful indicator of character that we have. I don't think she's a bad person, but she's clearly not very tactful either. To anyone who just has her most recent comments to go on, she looks like complete scum.

She doesn't have a label. :awkney:

Wasn't she picked by a label last month?

Did she release her album independently?

I know all about the f word. I grew up in a rural town and I was called it many times. :fan: If AB thinks that the n word is the only word that shouldn't be said, she is going to have a bad time. :toofunny:
