Whispering 18,865 Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 I mean, come on, 50% of that album was written a year or less before 11.2013, and almost all of that mixed/finished during the hip recovery, what was she doing the whole 2012 ? it's obvious she was freshly in love with Taylor and letting their feelings evolve then and it's completely understandable From January until the end of April, she was working her ass off doing promo all over the world for the BTW album, making videos, and planning and rehearsing for a world tour. By the way I remember when she used to talk that partner would steal her creativity trough her vagina. Don't kill me now, but at times I feel she was right. However in terms of ARTPOP songs her creativity was not that much affected by relationship with Taylor : imho Aura and Venus could easily be put into TFM. It's because their sound and imaginery potential is so great. Aura was recorded in early 2012 I guess and Venus was recorded the last. Stop trying to spin this into something negative, damn. Exactly. Her mental health and love life is more important than an album. I didn't mean she was extremely lazy and done nothing all I meant is that she did not less promo things while touring with TMBT than TBTWBT, and also that she had 1.5 years to write BTW while touring with TMBT and 2.5 years to write AP while touring with TBTWBT but let's just stop, it's pointless cause it's in the past now Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
