lizlemon 22
The title track is absolutely fantastic. So is summerboy. Those + the singles are the only standout tracks imo.
Bradley 59,064
The singles are the only songs that I enjoy this. I do enjoy other songs but not as much as Born This Way and ARTPOP's other tracks

Wet Fire 7,502
The Fame is not basic and there are not many fillers tbh. It came out in 2008 when the pop scene didn't have much dance music and The Fame along with some other albums changed pop music and made it the center of attention. The time when it was produced, the music was fresh and amazing. Now that dance music is everywhere The Fame sounds basic and generic to some fans. But IMO, it's lyrics are genius. And the production is amazing. It was a dance album so it wasn't really about vocals still the vocals sound good (thanks to autotune and vocal editing which are important for a dance/electronic album). Whenever I listen to the album I enjoy so much that I feel like it might be one of the best dance/electronic albums ever.
Lobster Boy 1
It's a frickin jam darlins I listen to that album more than BTW/ARTPOP to this day. It just has a good feel, easy listening, clever pop lyrics for basic pop songs (that's not a dig btw). It's just probably my fave album of all time tbh Poker Face, I Like It Rough, LoveGame, Just Dance, Starstruck....how can you not love those I think there are a few fillers OR looking at it another way, ones that are not as good as the other songs This is how I see it The GREAT songs: Just Dance Poker Face Paparazzi Starstruck LoveGame Boys Boys Boys I Like It Rough Paper Gangsta The filler/not as great as the above Money Honey (though I love this) Disco Heaven Again Again Brown Eyes Summerboy

Noam Zioni 1,196
It's simple, the albums that came later are too flawless and "untopable"
giskardsb 12,565
The Fame is a good album.. But the other albums are really better..That's all That's basically it IMO. The fame has some good material but to me much of it feels like Gaga wrote it for someone else. Maybe that's why some find it more "relatable". And for me anyway it's just too pop. It doesn't have the edge that her following works do.
Donatello 129
thus doesnt make any sense TFM's grammy does not acknowledge its instrumentals and lyrics, only the vocals. Unlike TF.
Yanko 9,860
TFM's grammy does not acknowledge its instrumentals and lyrics, only the vocals. Unlike TF. it still received a grammy and bad romance has 2 grammys this argument is stupid
