I love TF.

Money Honey

Starstruck

Paper Gangsta

The Fame

Beautiful Dirty Rich

I Like it Rough

Not to menrion the singles- Just Dance, Poker Face, LoveGame, Paparazzi...

Boys Boys Boys is ok, Brown eyes is ok, ans Summerboy is ok.

I also liked the bonus tracks.. what were they?

Again Again (LOVE it), Vanity (EPIC)

So yeah, don't get the hate. Its really not basic. It is THEMED, so there's that shallow fame component, but that's what makes it so great.

The album's fun to bop to when you're on the way to the club and nothing more. It's a fun and catchy album. It doesn't have any impact on me or influence in anyway, when compared to her later work.

on a thread about the Fame being her 'worst' album people decide to make it about ARTPOP, and it's problems.(personally I think there are none, that's besides the point)

I think it is the weakest album we have seen from Gaga, with the majority of her work much above the quality other 'artists' produce.

The Fame has the least substance and is the album which is clearly marketed for the masses and meant for commercial success. I'm not hating on it, but because of that it's the least impressive...it took the least risks. It's Gaga's one album where it's singles were more impressive than the whole of the product.

That being said, without The Fame, Lady Gaga would've never been able to make her other albums and have them be successful. Her later albums were riskier because The Fame allowed her to make riskier music.

I would consider it her weakest just because how heavily reliant it is on self-conscious hooks. For someone who prides herself on writing excellent melodies, it was always a letdown for me to hear how in-the-box those songs were.

Nevertheless, even the weakest Gaga album is top-notch, and there are other things to admire about it. Her work has consistently increased in creativity, variety, and scope, but The Fame was an excellent start.

because Gaga keeps improving on every album shes making. Maybe that's why some considered her first album the "worst"

I don't think it is. All of Gaga's albums are great. TF is the most catchy as well as highly clever and interesting to listen to because of its almost sociological lyrics. ARTPOP is my 'least' favorite because the song selection feels random and some songs are out of place, but I still love it.

I would never call it basic because it was COMPLETELY unlike anything released around the same time. It's just that it's her first work, so it's been overshadowed time and time again and eventually people find things they like better. It is Gaga's worst album IMO but that doesn't mean it's bad. It just means all of Gaga's albums are great :legend:

They don't listen to it anymore so they think it's irrelevant. Imo it's her closest album to being called a 'masterpiece' and it's no coincidence that The Fame is her only album with a grammy (TFM's grammy is only for the vocals).

thus doesnt make any sense :rip:

People bash it because simply don't remember the early times of Gagas big career.

Many fans have joined us during BTW so it's obvious their taste I completely different.

However I'm sure that if BTW was her first album she wouldn't be as big as now. Maybe she would end up as azealia or worse.

Says who though?

Who is the "big They" who declared this album to be her worst?

I don't get it. Worse is in the ears of the beholder.

What I could think is just the best thing in the world, you could not like and think is terrible. It's just opinion.

Umm.. where was it ever generally agreed on that TF was her worst album?

I don't think it's a bad album. Actually, it's a great album. I just think that all her other work is even better! :music:

Exactly. This b*tch just keeps getting better.

I know more people who can name at least a few songs from the fame

nevermind trying to get anybody in the general public to name a single song from ARTPOP..

so quality is based off of who knows a song more?
