Skyline 34 Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 The weird thing is i loved the Fame when I first heard it in full, along with the Fame Monster. But as time got one, Born this Way and ARTPOP being released, I liked less for some reason. The songs are still very good but for me they are not as strong as those on later albums, and I think that's the main reason The Fame doesn't seem as good as it is to some fans. ARTPOP is her worse album thus far for me. TF was very good, even though some songs were obviously just fillers. It did, however, have Poker Face, Godrazzi, and Just Dance on it. The genius is in her self-awareness and how boldly upfront she is on it. See: I'm doin' it for the fame. /We live for the fame fame, baby the fame fame /Isn't it a shame baby, a shame shame It's ironic, intientionally holding up a mirror to the pop world, yet having fun and reveling in it at the same time.
