IMEMC/Agencies 5 Oct — On Sunday at night, a Palestinian teen identified as Hotheifa [or Hudhayfah] Othman Suleiman, 18 years of age, died of a serious injury he suffered earlier when Israeli soldiers shot him in the abdomen, during clashes that took place near the Nitzani roadblock, west of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem. Eyewitnesses said that residents of Bal‘a village, near Tulkarem, clashed with Israeli troops at the military roadblock, located outside the village. The army fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas at the Palestinians, as protests continue across the West Bank and Jerusalem, against the ongoing Israeli escalation and violations. Hotheifa was injured in his chest and was moved to Thabet Thabet Hospital, where he died of his serious wounds. Surgeons performed urgent surgery in an attempt to save his life, but he succumbed to his wounds. Physicians at the hospital said four more Palestinians were also injured by live army fire, one critically, and that the hospital urgently needs blood type “O” Negative. One of the wounded Palestinians, 19 years of age, [Ma‘an: Omar Jadba] was shot with a live round in his thigh, and another Palestinian was shot in the abdomen. Six more residents were mildly injured by Israeli rubber-coated steel bullets while dozens of residents suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation. Hundreds of Palestinians marched to the hospital while chanting against the ongoing Israeli occupation and oppression.

A 13-year-old Palestinian boy was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers during clashes in Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem on Monday, Palestinian medics told Ma'an.Abed al-Rahman Shadi Obeidallah, was shot near the heart by Israeli forces during clashes in the refugee camp.He was taken in a civilian car to Beit Jala hospital where he immediately underwent surgery. However, doctors later pronounced him dead.The child was initially reported to be 12 years old, although medics later confirmed he was 13.Another teenager was reportedly shot with live fire in the leg during the same clashes and taken to hospital for treatment, locals said.An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was looking into the reports.

13-year-old shot by Israeli forces may undergo amputation

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli doctors on Wednesday were deciding on whether to amputate the leg of 13-year-old Palestinian Ahmad al-Muti after he was severely wounded by Israeli forces last week, a hospital spokesperson said.
The spokeswoman for Hadassah hospital, where al-Muti was being treated, told Ma'an the child remained in moderate condition.
She said he was unconscious but stable, and doctors were waiting on further tests before they decided whether or not to go through with the amputation.

‘I yelled for help and they spat at me,’ says victim of Jerusalem attack

 

Adele Banita, one of the victims of Saturday night’s terror attack in Jerusalem Old City, gave a harrowing account of how the deadly stabbing assault unfolded and how her cries for help were ignored as her husband lay fatally wounded on the floor and she herself was stabbed.

“I yelled ‘please help me!’ and they just spat at me,” said Banita of the surrounding Palestinian shopkeepers whom she said looked on and did nothing as Palestinian terrorist Muhannad Halabi attacked her and her family in an alleyway near Lion’s Gate in the Old City.

The Banitas’ two-year-old son was also lightly injured in the attack. Their infant girl was unharmed.

Banita was taken in serious condition to Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem in Jerusalem where she underwent emergency surgery overnight Saturday-Sunday. She regained consciousness on Sunday. Her husband died of his wounds at Shaare Zedek Hospital shortly after the attack.

 

“When we got back from the Western Wall, we felt that something wasn’t right,” she told Ynet from her hospital bed Sunday.

“We started walking fast but the terrorist emerged from one of the stores and lunged at us and started stabbing my husband. My husband is a strong man and started fighting him, he punched him in the face. At that point, the terrorist started stabbing me. Then he went back to my husband and stabbed him again and again. I also fought him, I tried to take away the knife, but I failed,” she recounted.

Banita said Palestinian youths who saw the attack laughed and cursed at her as she yelled for help.

She said that one of them slapped her and another laughed in her face and told her to “drop dead” when she told him she’d give him a million shekels if he helped her get away with her two babies.

“They saw that we were with two baby carriages,” she said.

Banita — stabbed, bleeding and losing consciousness fast — said she used her last ounces of energy to run toward security forces for help.

“I said ‘I’m hurt, my husband is stabbed and my two babies are there alone,’ then I lost consciousness,” she said.

 

Nehemia Lavi, 41, an Old City resident who heard the screams, came to help and he too was stabbed and killed by the terrorist.

The two wounded women were treated at the gate of Tekoa. At least seven vehicles have been damaged by stones.

One of the injured women said that she had driven into an ambush laid by Arab terrorists, who attempted forcefully to drag her out of her car, but she said she managed to escape, after having been beaten all over her body by Arab youths. “Anyone who leaves home now, should not go that way,” she warned, “There’s not a single soldier there. I arrived at the checkpoint and screamed at them that they must send in the army. There’s nobody there.” She was taken in stable condition to the trauma department at Hadassah Medical Center on Mount Scopus, having sustained bruises all over her body.

The second female motorist, 38, was taken with light injuries to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, with a bruised head and arm resulting from stone-shattered windows.

A mother and her infant daughter were injured from stones that were thrown at their vehicle Tuesday night, near the town of Levona. The woman’s husband continued driving to the town, where they were treated by a military medical team and moved by an MDA ambulance for further treatment at Hadassah Medical Center on Mount Scopus.

During the night, three Jews were arrested for demonstrating at the spot where the little girl had been injured. The detainees were taken to the Benjamin police station and received legal advice. It is still unclear whether they would be indicted.

Meanwhile, a Border Police force in A-Tur, eastern Jerusalem, discovered 15 Molotov cocktails ready for throwing on a rooftop. The day before police seized Molotov cocktails on the roof of a neighborhood mosque. Chief Superintendent Aviad Ktefi praised the Border Police fighters, saying: “This is an important capture of Molotov cocktails which endanger our fighters."

1. To avoid releasing them in a future deals (kidnapped soldiers/citizens).

2. It's a messy situation, it's not only 1 stabber vs. the police, it's supporters all around..

3. Some of them are illegally in Israel.. like the one from today at Kiryat Gat..

4. They couldn't shoot the gays stabber because there were a lot of citizens around him.. to shoot him will bring more death people.. with the Palestinian, they were no people around him at one point so they were able to shoot him..

It's difficult for me to judge this situation in a good or bad point of view, I don't know how I would react in that situation or how I wished the police would react if I was there..

The wife of the 21 years old guy who was murdered few days ago said that people spitted on her and attacked her.. told her "DIE"..

"Orphaned by terror, kids to be raised by families

Chana Henkin, the mother of Eitam Henkin, murdered with his wife, recounts the moments after the tragedy which left their children orphaned.

 

Rebbetzin Chana Henkin, the mother of Eitam Henkin – who was murdered with his wife, Naama, in a terrorist attack last Thursday – spoke with Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth this week about the last family gathering and the moments just after the attack.

On Thursday, the Henkin family got together at Eitam and Naama’s sukka in the settlement of Neria. Nothing forebode the terrible tragedy that would take place a couple of hours later, leaving behind a stricken family. 

“I remember we ate and laughed,” said Henkin. “Eitam and Naama cooked and baked, there were hot dogs and chicken breasts, and for dessert they prepared a cake. That’s what every family does during Chol Hamoed” recounted Rebbetzin Henkin. “We really enjoyed ourselves, we said goodbye at around four o'clock. We went to Jerusalem, and Eitam, Naama and the children went to meet friends in Elon Moreh,” she said.

“It’s is an extraordinary group, which has kept in touch from the age of 15 or 16, although each has gone on his own direction,” she said. “They always made sure to meet up once in a while.”

But at 9pm, as they were heading back home, their car was struck by fire from a passing vehicle. Eitam and Naama were gunned down, and the four children – Matan, 9, Nitzan, 7, Neta, 4, and Itamar, 9 months old – some of whom witnessed the horror, were not wounded. “These kids were there,” said Henkin. “Some were asleep but others remember.”

Henkin, founder and head of Nishmat Center for Advanced Torah Study for Women and considered one of the trailblazers of women studying Torah, has difficulty remembering the moment when she received the gut-wrenching news of the attack. “I was in Jerusalem when they called me,” she said in a trembling voice.

She immediately went to pick up Hila Armoni, Naama’s mother, and took the children to Itamar and from there to her house inPeduel. It was clear that the two grandmothers would hug the children and try to give them the appropriate treatment.

The children’s testimony as to the horrifying incident is still disorganized. Channah said that “what they say cannot be understood. The injustice done to these children will only come out in the coming years. This is not living without a father and mother for one day, two days, a week or two. They will not see their parents for their whole lives.”

As for children, she added: “We immediately realized that the children need serious and dedicated care. They have become the children of all of us, the children of Israel.

"We have been having family meetings about raising them and are trying to find the best way to watch over them and raise them as Eitam and Naama would have liked,” she said. “They are smart kids who understand what is happening around them. However, we are here.”

She understands what the future holds for her grandchildren. “Little Itamar will not remember the months in which his parents rocked him to calm him when he cried,” she said. “Nata might remember a bit, as well as Nitzan and Matan. But we’re here to raise them as closely as possible to how their parents would have raised them. I want to emphasize that we have suffered a huge loss. Israel also lost very significant figures, "said the grandmother. "We are not in favor of personal vengeance, but demand that the government provide security for its citizens.”

The only reason he wasn't shot is because he's Jewish. Let's be real here. Jewish lives are more important in Israel, even the criminal ones. He attacked same pride twice and both times he was unharmed.

Those points don't really justify cold blooded murder and that's what it is when you shoot someone in the back who is not anymore a threat. Police should be there to make an arrest and judge and court are there to give the sentence. 

Cops or army should not shoot to kill when they're not in obvious threat. And many times video leaks show that they were lying.

Yeah it's sad that they told her to die, it's not right...but that exists on other side too; 10k were yelling "death to Arabs" in front of Netanyahu's home demanding harsher punishments; there were settlers dancing and laughing after Dawabsha family was burned or when that 18y/o Palestinian girl was executed on checkpoint, her body was on the ground, military wouldn't let ambulance for half an hour and some Jewish people were pointing and laughing, it's all on tape. The humanity on both sides is slowly disappearing.

I understood that both men who were stabbed were serving in IDF so some Palestinians see them as legitimate targets, they see them as same people who raid their homes at nights, who stand by when settlers attack them, who were killing them last year or who are oppressing and  killing them every second day. Living under occupation is not normal life. Any other nation would be the same. I'm not saying it's ok they're killing civilians, it's not, but their situation and living conditions are not normal. And they haven't been normal for decades. They way they are treated is what creates more hate and more extremism.

Also gay pride stabber didn't get his house demolished. Same with any settler who committed crime against Palestinians. This is what they all see, inequality in punishments, which creates more hate.

And Netanyahu's solution is building more settlements and demolition of more houses.

How will that bring more peace? Abbas is just useless.

"Reported terror attack in Petach Tikva . 

A terrorist stabbed a 25-year-old Israeli man in Petah Tikva at the entrance of a shopping mall, Magen David Adom reported Wednesday.

The 30-year-old terrorist was as apprehended by bystanders in the area until security forces arrived. Initial police investigations revealed that he is from Hebron and arrived at the scene by bus.

Paramedics at the scene provided medical treatment to the injured man, who sustained stab wounds to the upper half of his body. 

He was taken to The Rabin Medical Center - Beilinson Campus in Petah Tikva for treatment and is currently in light condition.

“When we arrived at the scene, there was a big commotion on the side of the road, near a bus stop,” recalled MDA paramedic Itay Tillinger. “That’s where the 25-year-old was laying on the ground , fully-conscious but suffering from stab wounds to the upper half of his body. We provided emergency medical treatment and quickly took him to the intensive care unit of the hospital.”

I understand what you said, I gave the "official" reasons on why they didn't shot the gay pride stabber.

I would prefer to see his dead his house get burnt to the ground, he have no reason to live and to enjoy in jail again and I don't want to spend my taxes on him.

I think that if both sides are wishing death to each other, nobody here is right anymore, nobody is the victim.. death, blood, execution.. wtf is wrong with everybody??

Both hate is understandable in some sense... when since you are a baby you are controlled by another country, you are poor, especially because of your -enemy- it will bring hate in you at some point..

But also the other side, when you see since you are a kid bombed buses and restaurants, rockets etc.. it will bring hate toward the other side too.. without even understanding the situation.

I can tell you that yes, when I was a kid, I hated them sooo much, I wanted them all death, they were monsters to me.. all of them.. but when I grew up I understood whats going and I see everything in more reasonable and peaceful way..

Netanyahu have no solutions, he's putting a bandage and waiting for it to heal the mess.. until the next one.. he's building only to save his ass.. he's not really caring about Israel or the Palestinians, he's caring only about himself.

Wow you have luck! In my city is a huge islamic-jihad scene. Some people call my city door to Syria because here are so many extremest. Top on that are the strong leftist scene and right scene. The only people who openly support Israel are Christian organizations here

Here there are policemen and soldiers next to every Jewish businesses and neighborhoods.. cameras everywhere, a really good security.. it's scary how the extremest are rising and becoming a big group..

Here too. Few weeks nazis pissed at my familys house  And our synagogues are also with security. Especially orthodox ones.
