Redstreak 6,651
Rottentomatoes.com scores The Hunger Games: 84% Catching Fire: 89% Mockingjay Part 1: 67% Why the sudden drop? Has anyone here seen it yet? What did you think? Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~
Danny Boy 0
I thought it was amazing but critics thought it dragged on for too long and there was no reason for Mockingjay to be separated in two parts.
Sparkly 2
Those scores were probably made by idiots who haven't read the book and don't realize that mockinjay is one book and the first part was never going to be another hunger games or anything TOO crazy. In the book it was mostly emotional stuff and so was the movie, but there was still plenty of action going on. I think they did a really good job with how little they had to go with and they made it really good. I was anxious and anticipating every single next move even though I knew what was going to happen. Elizabeth 450
Oh man. I rarely pay much attention to reviews though. I hope it's good, I'm going to see it later today!
monsterdreams 1,529
Going to see it today, and I'm really hyped Anyway, I doubt this will affect box office and other reviews in the UK are really positive, like five stars Haters gonna need more than a flashlight for my shade
DIVA 666
Critics detest that one book was split into two films. That's really the biggest reason for the low score. I saw it opening night and it was worth more than a 68%. It was the slowest of them all, but all the performances were just as good as the previous two films. I would give it a solid 80%. We're all Stronger Together!
GagaXCupcakke 3,818
When I read the 3rd book I was like, "How are they going to make a movie about this". It's a really different kind of story. The third book was way more political compared to the others.
DrewStevens 5,249
I remember HP Deathly Hallows - Part 1 had the lowest score too. Contemporary critics are a mess anyway.
Fizzy 2,179
MOCKINGJAY HA ARTPOP ERA. SERIOUSLY haven't watched it, but if critics can give ARTPOP such a low score. Reviews have no meaning for me. “The scars on my mind are on Replay”
RAMROD 96,636
I haven't watch it until Saturday evening. I am ready. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ be delulu until it becomes trululu (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡
Sparkly 2
idgi why are critics so butthurt over splitting movies? i think it's absolutely amazing and i'm so happy they started doing it. that way they get more money and in return the fandom will stay active for much longer and we get much more details in the movies that would otherwise be skipped because there would be no time to include them. it's a win-win situation. Memo 176
I absolutely loved it and I've seen everyone else did and the ones that didn't was because there wasn't enough "action" or blood. Like seriously? did you ignore the whole political plot about war, rebellion and consequences killing people and loosing their loved ones left to Katniss and the others just because there wasn't enough action? wth critics I think they did a really good job with how little they had to go with and they made it really good. I was anxious and anticipating every single next move even though I knew what was going to happen.Mte, it was amazing, we're not ready for Part II Going to see it today, and I'm really hyped Anyway, I doubt this will affect box office It'll surely be a success but critically it deserved way more. Francis Lawrence did an excellent job. The actors too. The score was amazing. The sets. I'm not good at criticizing writing in movies but I'd say the writing and script was pretty good too. MahoganySnitch 67
I stand with others that say this is the best HG film yet. Honestly. And given the director's approach (and success) with these last two movies, the fourth one will be top notch. I have total faith for the final movie. And 83% of audiences on RT liked it, so you be the judge for yourself.
MaybeKermit 3,632
I saw it yesterday. During the movie there's a lot of suspence etc, but I thought it dragged on for too long... they shouldn't have split the book in two movies... it's just the Capitol torturing Katniss the whole time and Katniss showing her reaction through clips she records with a crew the last movie will be the best though :legend:
