Dyson: Britain should leave Europe to avoid being dominated by Germans

Better Day

This is why the UK is failing. The EU has more benefits than disadvantages. I just hope we don't leave the EU. I hope nobody wins the general election next year, we would be at crossroads, preventing a EU referendum. Maybe, this will teach the parties too actually treat us like human beings instead of a money making machine.

The UK enslaved the entire world, is basically responsible for Black people still being oppressed and discriminated against in the USA and Canada AND the mess that is happening between Israelis and Palestinians, but Germany that is endlessly trying to redeem itself and desperately tries to make up for its past horrendous war crimes, while becoming a economic powerhouse even though the UK tried draining as much money from Germany after WWI and WWII, is a big bully? U better fix your attitude sis. Bye Felicia

The UK can't be held responsible for racism currently occurring in other parts of the world when they've had discrimination laws for years, plus they're somewhat starting to try to make amends for the middle east conflict by showing greater support of Palestine (see their recent non-binding support of the Palestine statehood). Also, If I'm correct, the toughness of the Versailles treaty was mainly due to France rather than Russia or the UK

This is only one person's view really  The referendum (in my opinion) is old men's politics to dissuade people from supporting more extreme parties such as UKIP.

Wouldn't you just get another coalition, even if it was 3+ parties?

That is the most likely conclusion but a socialist can dream

I hope (on the UK's behalf) that some somewhat 'good' [ha] parties form the coalition.

SNP aren't even the most socialist political party in the UK though, Sinn Fein is moreso (but they don't take their Westminster seats) and they're the only ones in the UK that sit on the far left at a European level...

For SNP as far in my knowledge is the most socialist party in Scotland.
