It's not important who raises a child - a single mother, a single father, two mothers, two fathers, a mother and a father... No matter how progressive he thinks he might be he is still the leader of an institution that is rooted in ignorance and intolerance so we shouldn't express anything else than that, it's like being surprised or disappointed that a KKK leader said something racist. Now I feel like we've just taken ten steps off a cliff. So you would expect him to legazile gay marriage at the chrurch or what? He had make huge step foward lol. Economy 53,160 Posted November 20, 2014 Share Posted November 20, 2014 i dont know how ppl can expect any different most religions strongly believe the act of homos-xuality is wrong (although not all believe being gay in itself is wrong). do people honestly expect them to just throw away their beliefs? its not that simple... u can ask and even demand respect. no one should shuve their beliefs down anyones throat but u cant expect them to "AGREE" with it or "SUPPORT IT". thats different from respect.
