Problem is his video is in no way educational and has no moral intentions so he can kindly shut up about 'reminding the youth of nazism so it never happens again'. It was glorifying & lacked of any artistic substance. Stop trying to make bad excuses for a video full of cheap nazi symbolism smh

Firstly, if you don't know what hitler was, you shouldn't be allowed out of the house.

Secondly, if you're wondering what hitler was, you'll google it or ask someone. Thus becoming educated.

What's frightening is that you're using naziism like it's a grotesque image. It's not. It's representative logos and images of a group that existed in the past and has some scarce support today. A Nicki Minaj video isn't going to trigger an uprising of Nazis.

So it was intentional because people don't know about hitler?  :coffee:

Yeah, 99% of people do.

If they don't know, Google/ other people exist.  :coffee:

Well you don't really agree with him. He never said people overreacted, he said that this video was a way to prevent atrocities that occurred in the past like the Holocaust from happening in the future.

The problem is how are you going to educate young people to prevent these atrocities if their idols are portraying the ones who caused them.

But I don't think that young people will look up to these characters, Nicki wasn't really glorifying them, the video had quite a serious and malevolent tone

Maybe it was unintentional but most part of the lyrics are about power in a positive way and in the video she was being glorified.

Most young fans see their idols as role models so this video is clearly not an effective way to educate them. It's like saying that Telephone music video prevents murder.

If only people were actually as stupid as they would like to think that they are, lol. The laughs are on them. Idiots, the lot of them.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

The first amendment doesn't mean you can't be criticized by us commoners. Especially when the criticism is rightfully deserved.

This.

And not him trying to make the video educational :smh:

Right, because when I watch a lyric video for a song talking about how Young Money didn't **** Nicki I think of the history of WW2.
