As far as an explanation, I think its actually important to remind younger generations of atrocities that occurred in the past as a way to prevent them from happening in the future. And the most effective way of connecting with people today is through social media and pop culture.

 

I'm neither here nor there regarding the lyric video, however, this bs is really eye rolling. Marilyn Manson has used swatch stickers in his work before, but it was always used in a way that was in relation to the message of the music and what he was trying to say politically. This guy needs to just call a spade a spade, if he doesn't want to apologize for the use of the symbols then don't apologize, but lets not with the bloated nonsense about how it's about not letting kids of today forget past atrocities, the symbol has **** all to do with the song or anything Nicki is about, the symbol holds no weight to their message. It doesn't need to be about sappy sad messages, what a retarded comment, but if it's going to be used it should at least be for a purpose and not just to make people thirsty like Nicki has ben doing with all her lame **** lately.
