She will always be my favorite artist because I not only love her music and voice, but I'm captivated by her personality, spirit, and life journey. Plus, Meghan's music is fun and cute, while Gaga's isn't really. I don't think people are trying to say Meghan isn't "fun and cute", but she isn't really even close to being a fully formed artist. She literally stumbled into a writer and producer (because L.A. Reid set up the sessions) who wanted to bring back the 50s sound, so that is her current sound. Other than being a girl who has some meat on her, what do we really know about her? What is her artistic vision? Does she even have one or has she just currently taken on the voice of this record producer? Meghan is releasing music because she is at that place in her release cycle. (BTW, Gaga has released over 30 songs in the last year.) Is that how you determine who you stan for...whoever is currently in their release mode with cute music? What will happen when Meghan takes a break between releases, because it happens to everyone. Does someone else then jump in her place? Is "fun and cute" really what you are looking for in an artist? She lost her spark and isn't interesting in reviving the flame. Compare her older performances like The Monster Ball to the the artRave. She is lazy now.
