UC PiXELVISION 353
K. Is Israel to blame for...? what exactly? having its soliders attacked? find something that is more reliable than Palestinian press. But don't you think bombing the ENTIRE FLIPPIN country is a little too much ? I get your side. But at the same time, the way how people are reacting on the Israeli side is a bit childish. Like,"my neighbor threw a rock at me and so I decided to kill his parents, siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles. Haha! That'll show him!" Whenever palestine does something, Israel has to 1 up them. BOTH countries need to find some Common ground. Not try to be the bigger (in strength) one.

UC PiXELVISION 353
I think that applies to both sides and it would be excellent if everyone could abide by that. ;) I agree, my statement was general, directed towards everyone. Unfortunately this is not the first time children were treated this way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dl6YGt7O9eM Soldiers detained 4 children ages six to nine, handcuffed 3 of them. Kafr Qadum, November 15, 2013. http://www.btselem.org/demonstrations/20131203_minors_detained_in_kafr_qadum https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkIPsGnMqQw The source B'Tselem - The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories Zilla, can you please delete off topic posts and gifs? They derail a serious thread, these are basic human/children rights and there needs to be awareness. I'm sorry, was I off topic? :(

You failed to mention this... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_suicide_bombers_in_the_Israeli%E2%80%93Palestinian_conflict It's unfortunate that children have to be treated this way from time to time, but its also a war zone and the Hamas are absolutely out of their ****ing minds... lego 44,165
Same goes for certain people who use this section as a place to "educate" the members of this board with ridiculously biased articles... Biased? I used to think you are one of the rare people who can actually discuss without this weak excuse. Is B'Tselem biased? Are these videos fake? Are you denying children being imprisoned? You failed to mention this... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_suicide_bombers_in_the_Israeli%E2%80%93Palestinian_conflict What? from 2000 to 2005. This is your way of justifying arresting of minors? I agree, my statement was general, directed towards everyone. I'm sorry, was I off topic? :( It's ok, you should just ignore Dolev tho. His goal is just to close this, comments should be more on topic. FreePalestine

I've been able to discuss this with many people calmly, and you'll notice I've never gotten a warning point on here for the way I handle myself. I have never once thought you were a reasonable person to argue with. Your method of arguing is equal to screaming over the other side by sharing 50 times as many posts and making a new thread every other day. And I'm so sorry if that seems like a personal attack, because I respect your passion, but I feel the need to tell you that you are way too aggressive for this forum. SleepingSun 1,355
When will this madness finally stop? When will people notice that what we are doing is getting us nowhere? I am sick of it, everyday these awful things happen. It's alarming that I start to lose any kind of feeling for these news, it's more like: Again? Ok. It won't stop anyway. One second I'm a troll, then suddenly the troll is me.

They don't have to be? If you actually read the articles or saw the videos, they have nothing to do with Hamas. A war zone? Or occupational forces bullying and humiliating those who they occupy? The fact that you don't see anything wrong in this... a Palestinian child can get up to 15-20 years of prison for throwing rocks, an Israeli soldier shoots and kills Palestinian child and gets nothing. You are not the one who decides who is good enough for this forum. I have over 4000 posts and only one WP just expired and it was Gaga related joke, so? What's your point? I think its crazy for anyone to think that one side could be totally in the right. It would be impossible for this to be resolved if everyone acted so stubbornly... I have no issue with the argument you're making, but I do have an issue with the lack of discussion you're willing to have with anyone who disagrees with you and the aggression/volatility. I'm also not Israeli so can you please stop referring to "my people" like you know something about me?

It's enough to know whose side you always try to justify. "It's sad but look at the Hamas!!" You also said "my people" and you don't know anything about me either. I'm not Palestinian. You also said "my people" and you don't know anything about me either. I'm not Palestinian. It's not enough to know that, sorry. I do not always try to justify the Israelis actions; for example, I'm extremely anti-settlement and I've expressed that on numerous occasions... One of the reasons for this conflict is that the populations of both see it as entirely black and white. It's so unbelievably counterproductive and unhealthy to think like that and especially to propagate those views further. My apologies then, I assumed that you were Palestinian because you obviously care very deeply about it and have become a sort of ambassador for this board. :P Another reason why you should be careful about how you comport yourself. I haven't seen posts about your anti-settlement opinion, would you link me to those? I know you say you try to see both sides, but is it really like that in practice? For example in this thread alone I haven't seen any words of condemnation nor disgust for the obvious child abuse and mistreatment which is illegal under international law, but immediate attempt to dismiss me as a biased one and pulling out wiki links and ''it's Hamas' fault'' mantra. I can see from your comments that you haven't even read the article nor did you watch the videos. You don't have to apologize. I don't care about wrong assumptions. I'm neither Palestinian nor Arab. I think it's enough to be human to care about justice for the oppressed ones. I know many from Israeli/American Jews to European Christians/atheists who care about this cause and who are doing a lot more than I'm able to do.
