Boston has a condo building in the works that will be 1,400 feet tall with 60 stories.
This would be the tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere!!!
-----------

In Toronto we were suppostu get 3 condo buildings (tripplets) over 80 stories high and taller than this. But the city ended up rejecting it saying is "wasnt practical"

The 1,400 ft tall building with the $95m penthouse is 432 Park Ave, not the one in Boston . The Boston one will be 60 story. Plus I don't think you'd ever see a $95m condo in Boston :emma:.

How long will it take to get up there if you live in the top penthouse?

Probably around 30 seconds, one minute tops.

What if people are getting picked up on the way? Imagine going down and stopping at every few floors.... :megaflop:

"Citigroup’s private bank, led by Peter Charrington, pooled more than $400 million from wealthy clients to invest in New York’s 432 Park Ave., where a penthouse is under contract for $95 million. The building will reach almost 1,400 feet, making it the largest residential tower in the Western Hemisphere, according to its website."

This whole paragraph is referring to 432 Park Avenue.

The only thing the article notes about the Boston building is that it will be 60-story and will have 180 condos.

Maybe you're the one who skimmed it after all :emma:.

Tall buildings have express elevators that stop at the ground level floor and only the top few floors.
