I dont care about britney, but its annoying to see gaga treating pop like **** just because the industry is a mess

Like.. She could do an epic pop album and prove all wrong, but no , she chooses to go against everything we loved about her in the first place.

I still love her and respect her work, and i'll be buying her rock album as soon as it comes out, but she needs to be less bitter about pop, because she makes amazing pop records.

Please, please give me an exact quote where Gaga has in any way treated pop music "like shît." Because I'm almost certain that she has said nothing of the sort, ever.

She's so out of touch with what her fans actually want.

The whole point of ARTPOP was that after fans b---hed about Born This Way being "out there" she tried to give them what they wanted. She toned it down with ARTPOP and even tried to appeal to straight men.

You guys got what you wanted, but you also perverted her work by interfering with her art.

When you want a Britney collab, you neither can see nor hear Gaga LOL

When you want a Britney collab, then hear Rihanna or Miley - they have a collab with britney. WUUUHUUUUU.

This post resonates with me on so many levels

You know, we are lucky enough to already have both a Gaga Britney collab (telephone remix) (Quicksand) AND

to have Hello Hello and Your Song with Elton :) best of both worlds!

I doubt Gaga and Brit's voices would even mesh well.  I feel like it would be forced.

Elton isn't a jazz singer or artist. He is the definition of Pop music.

I know, but he's a much more... palatable and subtle artist. Today's pop is very flashy and energetic.

The arguments happening in the topic is why I'm thankful neither of us are part of her management team... LEAVE GAGA ALONE!

Good, Gaga has good taste and direction, imo. She's a musician, not simply another pop star.

This thread is what happens when the Mods can't change a biased title. :fail: Guys, seriously, I love you, but you must to redefine your  policies.

Sorry, I didn't notice it. Lemme go back and reread it. We try, but sometimes we miss stuff, we aren't perfect.

If anyone thinks she was actually being rude after reading the OP to see that she phrased it COMPLETELY differently than the title, I'm genuinely concerned.

too many people on this site enjoy assuming the worst and then arguing about it.  Others enjoy starting the fire in the first place.

Lorde, Adele, Coldplay, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, John Legend, Sia....all people who have or will be competing for Pop Album of the Year/ Song of The Year/ Album of the Year.

She's talking about ONE song, not a whole album. There is nothing wrong with having a "palatable and subtle" song on an album.
