Born Brave 2,072
This is so rude. I honestly hope she abandons pop forever, just so people like you could take your rude comments off this site It was rude of me, yes, but I'm not the only one thinking it, just the only one with the balls to type it. Yup, it's very ballsy of you to attack a pop star on an internet forum. Very edgy. And nobody else on this site has ever said that they dislike her current musical direction. That's a very new and unspoken opinion. Congrats.
Miel 15,009
That wasn't rude at all? I mean, out of context, the thread title makes it sound rude, but I don't find it as such within the interview. 3 points in and ready for more
thefamebitch 833
Honestly most people want to hear Britney rather than Elton. Including me.
GAGA IS A QUEEN 0
I never said britney was talented but I've watched elton performances and compared to his peers during his time, he's pretty mediocre. His voice, maybe, but he was always a very gifted composer and songwriter. Brit's talent was always more as a performer, but she also has a good ear for pop music. GlitterAndGrease 594
That was very rude towards Britney Also she and elton john are not a surprise after all. they always collab and never release their music Im sure most of both fanbases would support this collab and that would help both hers and Britney's sales A collab with Elton will just not sell This is so rude. I honestly hope she abandons pop forever, just so people like you could take your rude comments off this site If she abandons pop her carreer will be over in 2-3 years
RAMROD 109,221
Honestly most people want to hear Britney rather than Elton. Including me. And that is exactly why it will never happen. Remember what she said on SXSW interview? The more people trying to shove her to do things, the more rebellious she'll become and not doing it. She have a mind of a rock star. She love to piss people off. A collab with Elton will just not sell All Gaga pop fans have been saying the same thing about Cheek To Cheek back then cos #pressdt

The more people trying to shove her to do things, the more rebellious she'll become and not doing it. She have a mind of a rock star. She love to piss people off. She has the mind of a Rockstar but she is making pop music. If she keeps doing the things people don't really want (Tony collabs) and also keep managing most of her carreer steps she will not be as famous- successfull for a long time. Labels want to earn lots of money. Britney will bring t. Elton will not

Darcklighter22 2,358
She didn't say anything rude in saying that she has just changed musically. I mean yes it comes off as a bit of biting the hand that feeds you when she made it big with Pop music, however is really wanting to lean in another directly musically is is almost shunning pop or possibilities of pop collaborations. At this point there is no way she could release anything and get reception like The Fame or Fame Monster. She is under new management which is good promo wise but don't be surprised if she really does go Rock with the next release on top of putting out another Jazz album. Pop want it or not is hugely surrounded by artist who are just labels cash cow of the moment she knows she was used as such and is tired of it. Il gladly take quality (time spend constructing tracks) over rushed albums to sell numbers. She just needs to watch herself tho she may be somewhat grounded but she's still trying to swerve in both lanes of music and the bling
User 352
When you want a Britney collab, you neither can see nor hear Gaga LOL When you want a Britney collab, then hear Rihanna or Miley - they have a collab with britney. WUUUHUUUUU.
djBuffoon 12,115
Britney has nothing to offer Gaga. Brit can barely sing and their voices would not mesh at all. Elton is a much better artistic matchup. I don't know why pop fans always want pointless collabs. The only reason for most pop collaborations is cross marketing. :trootea: :trootea: :trootea: "My musical direction isn't the same anymore". Which means that she'd rather duet with old has beens. **cough cough** Tony. But wait, Tony was and still is a successful and highly respected artist, same with Sir Elton. They are legends who earned it through hard work and sheer talent. Britney is an icon, sure, but she was and is a vehicle for more talented artists to channel their work through. She has no creative autonomy of her own.

And there is such a thing as a career outside of the Top-40.
