Would this thread exist if ARTPOP was successful? It comes off as 'we know your album flopped but we're thankful for it anyway' so what! Cuz for me honestly that's exactly the point. But not necessarily the way you said it. I prefer to phrase it as "Although ARTPOP was your least appreciated effort by both your fans and the critics, and although you've been through a lot of management/label drama this era which had its a good deal of negative effects.
