I love cheek to cheek but now I wish it never happened because now we wont get another album til mid 2016 to early 2017 :( cheek to cheek tour starts in june next year and will probably end in early 2016 This will be the longest we've ever waited for a gaga album :ohno:

Is it wrong that i just DON'T want another fame monster? I want her to always move forward, and that's what I think she constantly does with her work. I loved ARTPOP and I am not disappointed at all.

No. Even if she decides to "write another The Fame Monster", it's not going to top it. TFM was successful because of where she was at that point, she has released songs on Born This Way and ARTPOP that I feel are superior to many of the songs on The Fame Monster (in terms of quality, music, lyrics, etc.), but it was the whole experience of the album at that time right after The Fame.

 

I don't like it when artists say they "can write another masterpiece" like the one they did 2, 3 or more albums before that, it makes them look a little pretentious about their work. It's like "Yeah, I could write another Bad Romance in 5 minutes but that's not what I do now, I've evolved as an artist". Sure.

 

Please Gaga, you don't need to say things like that, to me, Born This Way was superior to The Fame Monster, and I don't expect every album she releases to be a 2.0 version of something else. I'm going to let her albums speak for themselves now, now that Born This Way and ARTPOP were hyped TO death as the next Jesus Christ.

 

And that article kind of makes her contradict herself about what she said in the past, like many other articles.

i dont believe in whatever 2.0 

if the album is good, it's good. I ont need to compare it to any of her old work. 

I don't think she wants it to be comparable in sound to TFM, I think she's just saying she can make another album that is on the level of TFM, in terms of artistic integrity and critical acclaim.
