I think she just needs to be in the right mood. At the first artrave here in Florida she read no letters and yelled at us for throwing stuff on her brand new stage lol. When I went to Boston she picked up two letters, brought my friend onstage for Gypsy, and yet left the arena in a bus and didn't greet any fans. She had to be in Canada for a performance with Tony the following day. It has to be a combination of her mood and jet schedule.

Sometimes I don't get the preferential treatment that certain 'super' monsters get, as if they're more dedicated fans for having no comittments and mummy/daddy's money to follow her around the globe

 

The favouritism of fans winds me up so much. Some of us don't have the luxury of time to wait outside her hotel day & night and yet at her concerts she brings people on stage who have met her plenty before, I don't understand why she doesn't think to pick people who have never met her before.

And honestly, I blame this on Gaga. She's time and time again showed that she cares more about this little-peckered-fcked-up-nose-having gigolo than she does about anyone else in her fanbase. I remember when the GUY video was leaking and it was literally 5 minutes before it was going to premiere. FIVE minutes. And he's on twitter, "Wow. I cannot believe you people are doing this and sharing the links. That's soooo illegal." I'm just like, well in five fcking minutes, I know your faggity little twitter will have a link up too, so shutchyomouth. She's instilled this "love yourself' message so hard that monsters like him, (we all know these types of monsters) think they can do no wrong and they are the Queens of the Universe and every knee shall bow to their presence.   

 

Just a prediction, if Gaga ever loses her Slayage-status, MarcMonster will be knocking at someone else's door reaallllllllll quick.

She has an extremely exhausting job and I've never expected her to cater to her fans 24/7. Stuff like this is going to happen and it's unfair to vilify her for it. People need to understand that while she obviously loves and appreciates her fans, she's still human and needs time to herself too, she could be going through something or just not feeling 100%. I hope that OP can eventually meet her though!

 

Also the reason it seems like she gives special treatment to certain people is because those people seem to have the time and money to follow her literally everywhere she goes.

In Prague she spent 5 minutes with us and tweeted afterwards that she wouldn't come out again that day + at the artRAVE she read 2 letters :)

Honestly i dont know much other than what i told you because he posted pics of him and Gaga in the car and a video of her at the club. And hes also in pap pics with Gaga leaving the club and hotel. I also know they text each other but thats about it. Id say theyre really close friends.

It's unfair, but it's also natural for her to be drawn to people she recognizes, especially since some of them have proven to spend so much time and money on her. Obviously most of us don't have the means of showing that kind of dedication, but I feel like it would come off as really awkward for her see people she "knows" and just ignore them, even if it was for the sake of fairness... It's not like they're the only fans she ever meets or brings on stage, anyway.

Thats probably how she feels, but she shouldn't feel like she owes those fans any more than others. Its their choice to follow her around. There's fans out there who can't allow themselves to travel like that and wait 24/7 outside a hotel.

Okay that's weird but amazing for him. I wouldn't say no to that either.

I think it's okay to give people attention that she knows but it's so weird to me that she accidentily picks up their letters a lot. But maybe it's that their chance is bigger bc they follow her around the world.

She also often tweets the same people a lot. Idk if she realizes that but she seems to be connected to the things they say so she likes to stick to some people in addition to meeting New ones

She called 3 fans on stage for Swine, and read a letter and got both fans for Born This Way.

The show was miles better than the 23rd one, she was fantastic!

She started early too! 8:35pm she was on! We were all shocked! She looked and stared in all our eyes and was genuinely happy.

Tempted to go to the hotel, but I heard people saying she's going from the arena directly to the airport, which I guess goes with the fact that she started early. Waiting for one of the guys to give us info so we know what to do.

I didn't meet her, but I'm happy because the show kicked major ass!

I've really noticed a change in Gaga's interaction with fans. She is no longer reading fan letters on stage that are thrown at her, only letter sent before the show/filtered (and possibly rehearsed).

Same with fans waiting outside her hotels, etc. that has also gone down to a minimum. We waited for 6 hours (23rd), 13.5 hours (24th) and 4 hours (25th) in London outside her hotel, and she definitely knew that we were there because she mentioned it during her show, but she didn't even take 2 minutes of her time to greet people who spent the night in the freezing cold to meet her. She came out on the 24th, posed for the cameras and off to her car.

She is now using the back door of the hotel, and according to the one nice security guard, if she wants to leave from the main gate, they're told to tip off the paparazzi for publicity purposes, but she wouldn't be stopping for fans.

From all the fan experiences pre-ARTPOP (and even beginning of ARTPOP), it's a completely different story. I know she owes us nothing and we wait and stay there willingly, but at least send a note or something if are not going to make it? She used to do that. Regardless of celebrity status, if people have been waiting for almost a full day for you, you probably could give them 3 minutes of your time.

Before you call me a hater, please know that I own every CD (single/album) Gaga has released, and I've traveled hours to be here for the artRAVE, and I will continue to support her, even if I am upset with her at the moment. I am only sharing my opinion & trying to open a discussion about this.

I know exactly what you're talking about. In Athens she did the Venus show at the airport & hotel just for the press and she didn't talk to a single fan. The 2nd day that she was in Athens (the day before the artRAVE - it was a day off for her and the Haus) we waited 13 hours outside the hotel and she never came out. But I found out later from the hotel manager that she had gone out from the back door. And I don't blame her at all, maybe she was tired or not in the mood, but she did nothing to let us know that she didn't intend to come. She just tweeted the next day and she said sth at the show too. Of course she is a human and I am not complaining at all, I am just saying that all these seem a little bit different from what she did in the past.
