theMonster5 74
The killer posted this on his Facebook. Why did he chose beheading? Maybe he admire the ISIS's beheading. Nolen's Facebook page uses the name Jah'Keem Yisrael. The cover photo appears to be of fighters holding weapons. The postings include all-caps messages about Islam and quotations from the Quran. There's no reference to job dissatisfaction, and no indication he planned an attack. Some postings are political, such as one that runs with an image of the Joker from "Batman" comics: "AMERICA SO CALL HELPS IRAQ (WHICH NOT)- WELL WHY CANT U HELP THE GAZA CITIZENS AGAINST ISRAEL LOL..I UPLOAD THIS PIK BECAUSE AMERICA AND ISRAEL ARE WICKED. WAKE UP MUSLIMS!!!" CNN confirmed with Moore police that the Facebook page and the images belong to Nolen. Nolen had tried to convert co-workers to Islam, officials said. Tokyo Rose 1,475
If white American Christians weren't so busy sitting in front of their screens in their air conditioned homes, they would probably be just as extremist as the Islamic extremists. Facts are, he was arrested for possession of crack, c-----e and marijuana. He was a junky who lost his job. Police doesn't link this with terrorism. Islamic community in Oklahoma condemned it, what else do you want? Your title should be changed, as that recent school shooting wasn't named "Christian shooting in school...". I believe both sides are equally extremist. But the Christian side would rather sit and watch a war on TV than go cut someone's head off. You'll see them on facebook saying "just nuke 'em all!". They have the same extremist attitudes at their enemy, but they are more complacent to their government. That's the only difference in my book. That's the only difference in my book. well, i think you're mis-characterising those comments and also wrongly conflating poorly judged facebook comments with actual terrorism and extreme behaviour. people often don't mean what they say to the degree that you might think they do. this is evidenced by the fact that most people who talk tough with the kind of comments you're mentioning don't actually do anything anywhere near that, nor have the power to do it. nobody has the power to nuke them all, so it's easy for them to sit in their armchairs and make uninformed calls like that. is that similar to the attitude of a muslim who says all infidels must be beheaded (or something extreme like that)? i'd say no, some do behead infidels, and there are schisms of ideology within islam that actively advocate such things, and if they truly wished to do it it is well within their means to do it. actually i think most people privately think in extremes but have a moral compass that prevents them from acting upon them because they have a tuned sense of right and wrong. the form of islam that the terrorists use grant them the right to commit extreme acts that in normal people wouldn't get past their own moral detectors. where in america is this "extreme christianity" outside of facebook? You don't think those from Jesus Camp documentary have some of their people in US army who tortured, raped or deliberately killed civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan? Like this guy? In early 2005, a few weeks after enlisting, Private Green immersed himself in a baptismal pool in the back of an Army chapel in Fort Benning, Ga., one of hundreds of young recruits who embraced religion as they faced certain violence. ... The Mahmudiyah killings were the gang-rape and killing of 14-year-old Iraqi girl Abeer Qassim Hamza al-Janabi by United States Army soldiers on March 12, 2006, and the murder of her family, in a house to the southwest of Yusufiyah, a village to the west of the town of Al-Mahmudiyah, Iraq. Charged with the crimes were five U.S. Army soldiers of the 502nd Infantry Regiment consisting of (I) SGT Paul E. Cortez, (II) SPC James P. Barker, (III) PFC Jesse V. Spielman, (IV) PFC Brian L. Howard, and (V) PFC Steven D. Green, whom the U.S. Army discharged before becoming aware of the crime. Abeer Qassim Hamza al-Janabi was raped and murdered after her family consisting of her 34-year-old mother Fakhriyah Taha Muhsin, 45-year-old father Qasim Hamza Raheem, and six-year-old sister Hadeel Qasim Hamza were killed.[1] Spielman and Green have been convicted and three others have pleaded guilty.[2] http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2562503/Ex-soldier-convicted-killing-Iraqi-family-dies.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahmudiyah_killings http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/14/us/14private.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 FreePalestine

Well you could say the same about muslim extremists. You don't think war and politics have anything to do with it? Have you seen some of these? Not so fast, Christian soldiers Pentagon abruptly announced that it would not be delivering "freedom packages" to our soldiers in Iraq, as it had originally intended. What were the packages to contain? Not body armor or home-baked cookies. Rather, they held Bibles, proselytizing material in English and Arabic and the apocalyptic computer game "Left Behind: Eternal Forces" (derived from the series of post-Rapture novels), in which "soldiers for Christ" hunt down enemies who look suspiciously like U.N. peacekeepers. The packages were put together by a fundamentalist Christian ministry called Operation Straight Up, or OSU. Headed by former kickboxer Jonathan Spinks, OSU is an official member of the Defense Department's "America Supports You" program. The group has staged a number of Christian-themed shows at military bases, featuring athletes, strongmen and actor-turned-evangelist Stephen Baldwin. But thanks in part to the support of the Pentagon, Operation Straight Up has now begun focusing on Iraq, where, according to its website (on pages taken down last week), it planned an entertainment tour called the "Military Crusade." http://www.latimes.com/opinion/la-oe-aslan22aug22-story.html The Worst Idea since ISIS: American Evangelical Ex-Military Mercenaries Heading To Iraq to Fight ISIS “For God†Yes, it IS Happening! Can you think of a worse idea than evangelicals, who believe they are serving God by killing Muslims, fighting Muslims who think they are serving God by killing Christians? The US government should crack down as hard on both the evangelical free-lance American mercenaries going to Iraq to fight ISIS and on American Muslims heading overseas to fight for ISIS. http://www.patheos.com/blogs/frankschaeffer/2014/10/the-worst-idea-since-isis-american-evangelical-ex-military-mercenaries-heading-to-iraq-to-fight-isis-for-god-yes-it-is-happening/#sthash.BDw6MNzf.dpuf FreePalestine

Hot Space 14
He's just an example of a religious Christian who committed rape and murder. K, but was his crime religiously motivated? Was he raping and killing for Jesus? As an atheist I could go out and kill someone right now. That doesn't meant I killed them for atheism.
