(AP)  Police responded Friday to a high school north of Seattle after it was locked down amid reports of a shooting. The Marysville School District said in a statement that Marysville Pilchuck High School was in lock down due to an emergency situation, and police and emergency services had responded. The district said further information would come from police. Arthur White, who lives across from the school, told The Daily Herald that a large number of police vehicles converged on the scene late Friday morning. "I've never seen so many police in my life. It's a tragedy," White said. Local television stations said two people were being airlifted to a hospital. Live video showed students being evacuated from Marysville-Pilchuck High School in Marysville, about 30 miles north of Seattle. Ayn Dietrich, an FBI spokesperson in Seattle, said the agency had personnel on their way to the scene to help authorities with the investigation. The latest school shooting in the region happened at Seattle Pacific University, where a gunman killed one student and wounded two others on June 5. Died from self-inflicted gun shot wounds. Student says the shooter was a popular student but was a recent victim of bullying. Student says there was blood "everywhere" 2 DEAD, including shooter. Like, there have been ten fights in my school from mid August to mid October and last year a kid was expelled because he pulled out a knife and sliced his bully's hand with the knife and one kid last year beat up another, took his shirt off, and walked out of the school like it was nothing. In the entire nation's history only one amendment has been repealed (the 18th - Prohibition, which made the selling and manufacturing of alcohol illegal) so it's not that easy. The Constitution was not designed so it could be changed easily. Plus we have the NRA lobbying in Washington D.C. The real reason they don't even want to have stronger gun control is because they don't want to stop selling guns. Corporate greed is above people's lives apparently.
