Benji 20,113
Googled "art-pop" and all Andy Warhol related Is clear ARTPOP is about Gaga and almost nobody used the word previously jesus christ stop I said, Gwen clearly meant it in the 'gaga' way. I was mentioning that an artist (a painter) coined the phrase for his art and even Natalia Kills used the term before Gaga barely started the Born This Way era. I don't get how using post-ARTPOP images proves that there was nothing pre-ARTPOP? Keep trying though
Benji 20,113
PS still loving how we're arguing over this when the little statues are Koons inspired, not ARTPOP

Keep trying though I think most of us get that art pop was not invented by gaga, but the ARTPOP concept is Now mainly associated with Gaga. I actually made a thread about this a few months ago. I actually made a thread about this a few months ago. How many times, I have acknowledged Gwen clearly meant it in the Gaga way (even though she meant Koons but whatever) I was just simply stating someone coined the phrase way before her. DontDoubtDavid 1,191
I think Gwen meant to say Pop Art, but ARTPOP accidentally slipped out. that tweet was so cringe worthy tbh... i mean... it's like Gags reached a whole new level of delusion

SKANK 14,288
I think Gwen meant to say Pop Art, but ARTPOP accidentally slipped out. That is what I though. It seems as though Gwen meant to say Pop Art but because ARTPOP is a more prominent word in our 2014 lexicon, ARTPOP just happened to slip out. Regardless of whether she meant to say it or not, the fact that the word ARTPOP was floating around in Gwen's brain is solely because of Gaga. Which is pretty cool. Not even Houdini, but you're right he's here only for Madonna and he never seems to like or agree on anything Gaga-related lately. But have you ever dealt with a real hater? I have. It's nothing close to whatever negativism we have here often.
