Lady Gaga Throws Shade at Madonna in New Interview

the interviewer tried to make Gaga say that, but she avoided it with that response. If anything, shady human beings should learn something from her kindness and class.

MADONNA IS SO PRESSED OF GAGA!!!1 :lolgaga:

Sorry but imo Gaga is the one with a problem

how does this imply that Gaga is the one with the problem?

Madonna toured with her song followed by "shes not me" and ultimately centered promotion for her last album out of exploiting the hype for having dissed her.

While Gaga has only ever referred to Madonna like 3 times over the past 3 years and even here its hardly uncalled for. And honestly what she says here isnt even anything. Its kind of dumbfounding that people are being so dramatic and making this out to be disrespectful or something. Its literally nothing.

That was such and inappropriate question to ask :smh:

And gaga, i expected more from you :smh:

You should have defended Madge, she's not a specimen, she's a human being :smh:

Disappointed at everyone involved in this interview and some people in this thread  :smh:

Why on earth should gaga defend her? When has Madonna ever shown her respect? Gagas been nothing more than gracious with the way shes handled the Madonna situation specifically.

When Madonna did that infamous interview what did she do? With one passive sentence she could've either chilled out the 'Gaga is Madonna' drama or she could've just not said anything and let it be. But she chose to throw Gaga under the bus strategically knowing that people were looking to her answer to finalize their opinions. She knew this and she chose to degrade her. And she's been as such towards Gaga for quite awhile. So for anyone to have the audacity to imply that Gaga has at all been equally out of line or ungracious in regards to all of this nonsense is straight up stupid.

That might be the only undefendable thing :toofunny:

Yes, no doubt Madonna can be a b---h... if she feels the need to speak her mind, she doesn't touch her heart to say what she needs to say, even if that might be sensitive for some people. And her sarcastic sense of humor doesn't help much.

Doesn't mean she is the evil, mean-spirited old hag, some monsters make her seem to be... She's had her share of good thoughts on Gaga a lot of times! And I think Gaga herself should also pay more attention to that for her own good, not for Madonna's!!!

I definitely don't think she's "evil," don't get me wrong. I just think that even if her intentions were entirely pure and harmless, her actions and words were extremely easy to misinterpret and I don't blame Gags for being upset, especially considering Madonna was someone she seemed to look up to. I don't even think she meant it to be mean spirited, I get the feeling it was just a clever way to milk/deal with the situation, but obviously it ended up hurting people, and that's my issue with it. I wish everyone could just move on tbh but I don't resent either side (except some fans.. From both fan bases :smh: ) sorry if it came off differently

I completely understand that, and that's why I think both of them should just get over the whole thing already because it's going to cause stans and others to misinterpret their actions and words.

See, Gaga didn't really say anything bad about Madonna, but I'm pretty sure haters will make it seem to be as such... the same way the interviewer was trying. Some are desperate for just one small spark  to fire the fuel all over again. It's exahausting. That's why I agree with so much on everyone just moving on, once and for all!

Believe me, same goes for Madonna, I hope she never opens her mouth about it in her defensive, b---hy ways again!

She should rather offer and explanation (if not an apology) on her previous comments in the future (one can dream :toofunny: )

I wasn't aware being supportive was narrow minded. By your definition Gaga was supporting Wale and Colby when she collaborated with them.

I never labeled Madonna any of those things.

Elton has said nasty things about Madonna, and apologized many times as well. That has literally nothing to do with how much he supports Gaga though.

If you want me to believe Madonna is a super supportive person, then pull up some prime examples. Examples of Madonna having dinner, giving advice, praising others and giving out some delicious promo. With no collaborations of performances together near the time it was said. And no question instigating the response. I'll believe it if I see it. Answering a single interview question though, really just isn't enough. How many interviews has Tony done about Gaga now?

And... PLEASE PLEASE tell me you aren't talking about this http://www.eonline.com/news/360978/madonna-says-lady-gaga-rejected-offer-to-join-her-onstage-calls-diss-character-building

I said your definition was quite limited, Madonna doesn't have to behave exactly like Elton, Cher, or Tony towards Gaga to be supportive to someone. And yes, a collab can be considered a support, but in the Gaga/colby case , gaga wasn't famous at all at the time.

And no, I don't believe that Madonna is the most supportive artist ever or something like that, but if you believe that she's that nasty person who hates anyone who is more successful or talented then you're wrong. And she does actually give advice to some fellow pop stars, just because gaga isn't friend with her doesn't mean it's the same thing for everybody. What about when she visited Disclosure a few months ago? isn't it nice to have someone like Madonna come and meet you? But, hey of course she was there because she wanted a collab or wanted to steal their ideas or their soul lol :teehee:

I really haven't been on here lol

However, I agree with Gaga on Madonna not helping younger artists.

Madonna is a legend and she doesn't have to worry about her crown, but when has Madonna ever helped an artist that didn't already have a #1 or at least a hit under their belt. It's like she only picks artist that have at least a hit song on the radio that year or the year before. It's never I like this person, he/she's talented but not very popular let me work with them. I think not.

Even when Gaga and Madonna were getting along in 2009, she was extremely popular. I doubt she would have even came around if she was a nobody.

Whatever, they are still unknown. And no she doesn't want to collab with them they denied it. And what's wrong if they collaborated? isn't this what you call supporting new acts? :lolgaga:

Well clearly some people have a problem with whatever she does :coffee:

And again there is no collab between them, and they would feel honored if they had the chance.
