nikola 4,342 Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 why do you guys care about them,they are bunch on people reading fairytailks written by REGULAR PEOPLE sam PEOPLE that wrote:harry potter,lord of the rings........ and you dont see me runing around with wands and bows traying to kill dark lord so yeah ......and just for the record i belive in god but i dont belive in most things written in bible because it was written by people not god that coudl easily fake stories in it in purpose to make more people believeing in god. It's really not that hard, and they're making it out to be some huge debate and struggle smh Besides, that bible quote about gays shouldnt even be relevant to Christians as it's in the old testament. Wasn't Jesus supposed to come and fulfill the prophecy so they wouldn't have to follow those old rules anymore? But I guess any excuse to be homophobic is cool for the catholic church. And when some of y'all ask why should we care? Well some of us have families that are involved in religion, luckily for me my family has chosen to change church's because it didn't agree with my lifestyle. Educate your self on the bible before you start judging... And only pulling out the most infamous line from the bible doesn't mean you read it, I could google search it as well. "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind. It is abomination." Isn't this enough to say that Catholicism condemns homos-xuality? I think that the bigger issue is that many Christians pick out what they want to believe from the bible. Religion is the only thing that I see people use to condemn homos-xuality. Yes and that's the reason why there are many Christian denominations now. I agree with some things in the Bible that involve values and moral rules but I can't use it as a guide in my life with all the atrocious things it says.
